...husband has been using the HP Laserjet P1005 at work for the past few months. His [much more expensive] laserjet broke down and he was quite put out to receive this in return! Amazon charges £69.75 for this product [with free delivery within the UK]. At this price you know that the printer is not going to be top of the range, however, it's not total rubbish by any means. It prints at speeds of up to 14ppm [which is no good for high volume printing ...

I love this printer. This printer is so small but can print so fast. The thing in my mind that makes this printer stick out to me in my mind is the fact that the driver software on the computer is brill it allows you to choose what type of printing you will be doing for example if you are just going to be printing a page of a website you would just selete general everyday printing. We purchased this laser printer over a year ago now, and it's never let us down yet! It's a nice size, very sturdy and was very easy to set up - pretty much just plug in and use. The real plus here, is the price. For your money you get a simple yet reliable printer. The printing speed really impressed me, much faster than any inkjet I've ever used. It's also a lot quieter than some laser printers I've used, and definitely quieter than any inkjet. ...

This product is very good for producing business type letters. It is fast and reliable and rarely gets jammed. It can use universal paper as well as the more expensive type papers and the memory capacity is very good.
