Review of Brother HL 4040CN by
techno_man_37
Advantages: features, looks.
Disadvantages: price?
Recently, brother have been re-designing their printers and their all in ones.
This HL4040CN, has just been re-designed and now looks better and works better.
The design shape of this, is basically a big box. And it is big because this printer is for an high end personal use or for medium class office work. So therefore it has to be able to cope with a lot of work.
Even though this is a box shape, it still looks somewhat cool. Its panels of blue ... ...From the front of the machine, a blue panel fold down. This is a 50 sheet multi purpose tray, and directly below this tray is another, this one holds a massive 250 sheets of paper, and this is the main paper feed for printing off documents.
At the top of the printer is where the printed documents come out, this is easier to collect than them coming out of the bottom and just adds simplicity to the machine.
There are quite a lot of features available ...

Smooth, Quick, Good Looking....and its a printer
Review of HP Color LaserJet CP3505 by
joerearden
Advantages: Quick startup and printing, great quality, smaller than last one.
Disadvantages: Not sure on cost of toner etc but always seem to be really expensive
...on its specs on the HP site as I don't always trust the staff at PC World, they seem way to cheerful for selling PC's daily. Then ordered online and it arrived a coupld of days ago, I am pretty savvy with installing printers and making them work as I have done it for a couple of businesses and friends but this one seemed even easier than normal
It is also much smaller than I expected, the previous laserjet has its own gravitational pull it was so ... ...on a filing cabinet and there is no bending of wood in sight.
I can't comment on the running cost as it has literally been here for 3 days and I haven't looked at cost of toner and photo units yet but probably similar to what we paid for Epson.
The best thing is that it prints colour and black and white really quick! We always have on the spur of the moment things at work to design and print for new deals etc and this means I don't have to start ...

HP PHOTOSMART PRO B9180 - TOP NOTCH
Review of HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180 by
traveller10
Advantages: Quality of print no matter what size
Disadvantages: Cost
...The Photo Printer itself (obviously), HP 70 Printheads (x4), HP 38 Pigment Ink Cartridges with Vivera Inks (8 individual ink cartridges), HP Photosmart Premier Software on CD-ROM, HP ProPrint plug-in for Adobe Photoshop®, user's guide, power cord and a quick start booklet.
*************OVERALL**************
Most definately this is a printer that is aimed at the professional and creative photographer. It is a real heavy duty printer and there is ... ...capable of copying with heavy duty use. The colour quality is 1st rate as is the speed. It really does give you that superb opportunity to print large photos with A1 quality.
I really do have to say that unless you are a serious digital photographer, this is not the printer for you. The price reflects the quality.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review. I really do hope this has helped you. Please do leave a feedback for me.

HP 7260
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7260 by
makro74
Advantages: Excellent quick printing, photos just add icing on the cake
Disadvantages: Paper jams for drafts
...relatively quick speed (depending on settings). But beware of using draft prints as this for some reason causes the printer to jam or crumple through the process. Ink catridges suprisingly outlast any other inkjet I have owned. HP 56, 57, 58 are used in this machine. ...

Great budget printer.
Review of Canon PIXMA IP1800 by
pdmg
Advantages: Excellent text
Disadvantages: No letter tray!
...on my previous experience of Canon printers - I opted for a Pixima with FINE technology. I already have a very good photo printer in the shape of the Epson R800, and an Epson 830U which I use for rough drafts as it is on it's last legs. Fact is, I needed a printer to print decent quality letters and the odd mixed text and image sheet. I previously used an old Canon S520 but it finally gave up the ghost, and I have to say the i1800 - at about a quarter ... ...capable machine.
It prints in various modes (high, standard, draft and custom) and in high quality mode, the text is as good as any printer I've seen. It's not fast though, so if you print a lot of text you may want to look at a laser. Printing tecxt over colour (a sample web page) was not so hot, but I don't really care!
Photo printing is acceptable, though I didn't buy it for that purpose and only printed one quick pic to get an idea. I imagine ...
