...if you want a cheaper alternative you can by refill kits and recycled cartridges for alot cheaper. The only issue i had was the bulky size howevr a wireless print server and and spare room came in very handy. Bought one of these for a workgroup of 20 and got it working and printing from network within 30 minutes. One small problem was I couldn't seem to get the Add Network Printer option to work for the clients with full compatibility for Monitoring etc. We added the printer as "local" and pointed to the printers IP address, it worked fine. ...no banding on block colour prints and the speed is good. One worthwhile upgrade is to expand the memory, ours is maxed out to 144mb (£50) and it hadles large powerpoint files without any problems. We've had this printer at work for almost a year now and never had a problem with it. Unike most colour laser printers this one is quite tall so doesn't take up as much space which is useful in our office. Setting up the printer was easy, the drivers & manual are on the CD & it wasn't long until everyone was printing to it. This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic.
