I spent a fair amount of time researching printers before I bought this one just over a year ago and I am very satisfied with it. Mostly I use it for text only but I have printed out a short book of pictures with it (as a present) and it was good quality. I’m sure there are better printers, but they are far more expensive. Well what can i say i bought this printer when i was out looking for something to replace my old knackered printer. I was looking for something cheap but which would allow me to print basic documents and graphics. Well im pleased to say i found those features in this printer and more! ...when put on my wall look great! The printer takes standard well known cartridges which can be bought at almost any stockist of computer related equipment at very competitive prices! The cartridges also dont run out too quickly which was a surprise as they are quite small! ...disadvantage is the price of Lexmark ink, you could buy another printer for less! There is ways around this. Tesco's also sell there own brand ink which is half the price and of course there are refills. I personally buy ink on EBay very cheapley. This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter.
