Advantages: Cheap, Not Bad quality
Disadvantages: Only one space for a chartrage

I bought this printer for 40 quid to use as a cheap back up printer, and so that I could save money on ink from my main printer. A word of advice to those setting up home networks do not let anyone else use your good printer, buy a cheap one and let them use that. The drivers came in on the CD and there was no problem installing them though for some bizzare reason it has set up on the computers in German. My housemates think that this is a cunning ...
...I am not that devious, and if I was going to do something like that I'd have set it up in Slovenian. Setting up the drivers though was easy as it is with all printers these days, and maping other machines on the home network to the printer is no problem either. The printer uses Hewlett Packard (HP51649a) colour cartrages and the equivelent Black and white chartrages. If you shop arround you can get these for 15 quid or less. It only has one slot ... The canon s100 is a good value for money printer. It is plug and play so you just plug it into your USB port and that is it, you dont have to install drivers or restart your computer. As usual canon has made a brilliant printer. The canon s100 can print alot of pages in a small cartridge and is small and can be fitted into the smallest of spaces. The canon S100 is very stylish but also very reliable, it may not be able to stand up to laser printers ...
...of the price and for home use is all you will need unless you have exceptiponal circumstances. This printer takes about 1 minute to print 1 full page of text. It takes about 2 minutes to print a colour photo. The S100's ink cartirdges can be as little as £2 each and last for a long time, this if you ask me is brilliant valiue for money as some printer cartridges as very dear and orint a few pages and time for a new cartridge. Disadvantages: SLOW SPEED IN "OPTIMAL" QUALITY SETTING

Albeit I speak Spanish, I´ll write on English. One word: FIDELITY. I´ve got brand new from 2001 and it´s slow but works excellent. Never papar jams, flips, flops or so. I lost the CD and found drivers on 32.186.415 sites on the Net. No power, online/offline buttons con confuse. And also, the program included tells me EVERYTHING that happens. I´m so used to it´s sound that i think´s music. Also, comparing the cost with Epson catridge, it lasts ...
