Review of Brother P-Touch 65 by
Torombolina
Advantages: Small, easy, Prints look nice
Disadvantages: Maybe the price
...my newest labeling system, the brother P-Touch (PT-65) 65. I bought it in Germany for about 30 Euro (40 Dollars, I do not know the currency rate into GBP). The labels produced by this system are very clear on its paper/label. You certainly want to know how to print and produce the label, don't you? Ok, here comes the answer:
First of all, you must unsert six AA alkaline batteries in the back of the machine. After that you may want to insert the ... ...Afterwards, you may turn on the PT65 by pressing the ON/OFF button on the front of the machine. Now you can enter a text with a maximum of 55 characters and when finished you just press PRINT and the label is being printed. To cut off the printed label, simply press the violet botton on the left hand side of the machine. Furthermore, you may want to peel off the back of the label.
The machine can produce labels in the following ways:
in CAPS, with ...

What a performance by Brother
Review of Brother HL 2030 by
natty250
Advantages: Affordable, good quality,
Disadvantages: USB connection only
...printers I plumped for the Brother HL-2030. It also has its bigger 'brothers' (sorry pun unintended at time of writing) the HL-2040 and HL-2070, but I didn't think the 2040 offered much more for the money, and whilst I would have ideally liked a network printer it was out of my budget.
So - to the main point of this review - what is it like???
*** Appearance ***
It comes packaged well, in a sturdy box, with the instructions, and driver CDs easily ... ...in a plain (grey) get-on-with-the-job way. It is very small, official dimensions list it as being W 371mm, D 361mm, H 166mm. And it has an integrated paper tray holding 250 sheets. All this make it a compact, and lightweight device able to take its place on the desktop without being an eye-sore, or tucked on a shelf/under a desk.
*** Installation ***
The printer comes with two sets of driver CDs. One for Windows Vista, and one for Windows XP and ...

2070N for small business- is it right for me.
Review of Brother HL 2070N by
jrowleyuk
Advantages: sensibly priced network printer
Disadvantages: basically just a 2040 in new colours
...enough'. I like the Brother printers having used them for several years. This one should have been a better step than it was, a little disappointed. I wouldnt really recommend this to a business unless it was relatively small. We will be looking at the 5000 series for our next printers, however price is very definitely a key issue there.
All in all if you can get this on a deal from a supplier then you shouldnb't be disappointed. I wouldn't expect ...

It aint heavy, its my Brother!
Review of Brother DCP-7010 Multifunction by
cbzcbz
Advantages: Excellent print quality. Easy to use and setup, reasonabley cheap to run.
Disadvantages: slightly noisy fan when printing.
...Setting up of the Brother DCP7010 was very easy. Firstly, decide if you wish to use the parallel port or USB port (cable not included). Then simply load the driver CD into your CD drive, and follow on screen instructions until prompted to connect the unit to your PC and switch on. Simply setup which language you want on the units LCD display and away you go!
FEATURES AND WHAT ITS LIKE TO USE :
The laser printing function works at speeds of up to ... ...cost approx £35 for genuine brother cartridges. You can get refilled cartridges for approx £25-30 also but my experience with refilled cartridges is that they don't last as long as genuine ones. The drum lasts for 12,000 pages or every 5 toner cartridges and costs around £55.
Based on once used for 12,000 pages, this equates to a running cost of £230 when using genuine brother toners/drum or 1.92 pence per page. Which considering a lot of places ...

Dell Colour Laser 3110cn Review
Review of Dell Color Laser Printer 3100cn by
MoneyB007
Advantages: Qulaity, Speed, Network Adapter
Disadvantages: Size of paper tray
This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter. I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great ... ...Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. The printer is very frugal with the ink, it seems to keep printing and printing without the levels going down rapidly. The cartridges arent cheap checkout dells website. This is to be expected for a colour laser though. Caution. This is heavy 2 people are ...
