...in itself is really fast, dell claims this one can do about 25 pages a minute, however in testing I actually managed to get nearly 30 pages out of this, and even got 31 pages on the third time I tested it, so perhaps 30 pages per minute is more accurate for this printer. ...of good quality are about £50, and even though this printer in double the price of a good inkjet printer, I think it is also double the print quality and a lot better speeds than most inkjet printers are too. ...my entire PC setup as Dell braded. I purchased this as I needed a replacement printer for my Ageing Epson R200 inkjet, also I needed a Scanner. So far I have fond it to be vry quick at printing both photo\'s and documents. The Dell 725 printer is available to purchase directly from Dell online. This is what I would class as their budget range of printer. I purchased this printer nearly 12 months ago, at the bargain price of £19.99 (prices may differ now), at the time it also came with free delivery. ...by all means buy the Dell cartridges. I'm sure if you search the internet you'll be able to find some compatible cartridges (although I've not had much luck with this). I would also say to be wary of the draft feature. First off, only use the draft feature when printing black, if you try to print a colour with the draft feature then it ends up being near impossible to see. I got my laptop from dell which has served me well for about 3 years now. Since I bought my computer from dell, I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to buy a printer as well. Besides it was quite cheap and I felt it was a good bargin being an all in one printer which could scan, print and copy. The good side is that the scanning features are user friendly and work quite well. However, the down side which really makes this product a bit of a let ...
...than a photocopy. I couldn't use it for any of my school work. The ink finishes quickly and in a day I had bought two cartridges which are not available in most shops. The tri-color single cartridge is actually a disadvantage because the printer mixes the three colours to produce a 'black' print which doesn't really appear black. The Dell all in one fax - printer - scanner , one mans journey from a paperless office to printer Heaven or Hell? I have just started my new job & since we are trying to be a paperless /Officeless company I keep turning up to meetings with just my laptop while everyone else brings neatly printed packs of paper. ...ok & up popped a Dell printer tab on my screen. Just to make sure you have aligned the document correctly there is a scan preview, then you simply click scan OK and the scanned document is sent to a user defined folder. Make sure you note where it is going to send the file as I wasted 5 minutes searching for it afterwards.
