When will we see an end to the outdated dotmatrix
Review of Epson LX 300+ by gusgusrule

Advantages: Errmmm....leave me to think for this one
Disadvantages: Slow, terrible quality, hard to find consumables

...about £10 each for genuine epson ones or as little as £5 for compatible ones. ------------ QUALITY ------------ Well it sounds good so far, so whats wrong with it? One thing I really disliked about this printer was its quality. The text produced by the ribbon was very faint, and a grey colour as opposed to black. There was a lot of horizontal banding in most print outs with large white stripes through the text. It also had a tendency to shoot ...
...If it is just Epson thats not good with their Dot matrices then I would recommend them to give them up as a bad job and stick to what their good at...inkjet and lasers. simple and cheap to run
Review of Epson LQ 300 by zedix

Advantages: cheap to run, good autofeeding mechanism
Disadvantages: noise

You can leave it printing without worring about paper being jammed because its autofeeding mechanism is well thought through. The only disadvantage ... Read review

Review of Dell Color Laser Printer 3100cn by MoneyB007

Advantages: Qulaity, Speed, Network Adapter
Disadvantages: Size of paper tray

This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter. I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great ...
...Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. The printer is very frugal with the ink, it seems to keep printing and printing without the levels going down rapidly. The cartridges arent cheap checkout dells website. This is to be expected for a colour laser though. Caution. This is heavy 2 people are ... Read review
