family printer
Review of Epson Stylus D120 by techno_man_37

Advantages: quality
Disadvantages: looks

This Epson printer looks like a quite poor quality family home printer. I don't mean its design as it actually looks quite cool. However just because its shape looks like all the other rubbish quality printers that came before. This printer however is really good quality, and Epson even boast it makes a sensible alternative to a laser printer in the home or office. This printer shows you, that you can get the same quality and speed from an inkjet ...
...than a laser printer, infact a lot cheaper. you could buy on of these for around £50, where as a laser printer could cost anything up to £500 and might not even be as good quality. What I meant by this printer looks like any other, is that its got a simple body, a paper feeder at the top and a slot at the bottom, where you printed documents come out of. You can probably all imagined what this looks like already, its just your typical printer. The ... Read review

Great Printer!
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R285 by Selito206

Advantages: Perfect CD printing, Photo paper printing and normal paper printer quality!
Disadvantages: Large in size and has a few problems in CD printing (as explained in main review)

...ink being not even geniune Epson Ink, was perfect and high quality. The problems that i had was after i set everything up, and was about to test print my first few CDs, the printer said something was blocking the printer head. I had to restart the printer several times, and restart the computer 2 times to get it back to working/printing condition. What i learned was that when you want to print on CDs, you turn on the printer, and wait until it has ...
...ebay, and really it does not affect image quality as i have been using Epson for years and never bought genuine epson branded ink. Plus you can save a lot by buying Epson (in particular R285) because you can buy a CISS system for it reducing your printing costs significantly!!! ... Read review

Epson 480 - A dream come true
Review of Epson Stylus Color 480 by matman2uk

Advantages: Sleek, stylish and modern
Disadvantages: Slow printing

...a printer; it was the Epson colour stylus 480, I screamed with joy, I kissed the catalogue over and over; I had found my first love…..Ok, ok, maybe it’s a bit exaggerated, but you get the general idea. I’m not going to try and glorify this printer any more; it does that all by itself. The Epson stylus colour 480 may not run too fast, but boy does it have good quality printouts. As well as this it looks like something from heaven. As well as all ...
...32mb Ram and a 1Gb hard drive; and this baby ran off it like a dream. It was like a dream come true. Here is some information: It has seperate ink cartridges for black ink and colour ink, Its very easy to change the ink, The ink is cheap, it will not take cardboard, And it is very reliable. Overall I would say that the printer is good value for money, looks sleek, stylish and modern, and will run on just about anything you hook it up to. It ... Read review

The Best Printer I've Ever Owned!
Review of Epson Stylus DX4200 by sobelecta

Advantages: Fast, high quality, excellent performer.
Disadvantages: Ink can quickly run dry.

When I got my new Epson Stylus DX4200 from our local Curry's for a hefty £89.99, I have to admit I had high expectations. I heard plenty of good things of other people and off the salesperson, and I was intrigued by the printer, scanner and copier facilities that the machine provided. Looking back, I'm tempting to say that it's the best £90 I've ever spent. Of course that's an over exaggeration, but this printer genuinely is a beautiful thing. ...
...Army Knife, yet with an interface so easy to use that even I managed to master it in less than half an hour. There are 2 things you notice straight off your first printout. First, the quality of the print is excellent. Clean, crisp and vibrant, the colours come out brilliantly. Secondly, the speed at which it emerged. Being used to a slower machine, I found this a godsend when printing out page after page of work, which used to take me about an ... Read review

Not the best epson printer
Review of Epson Stylus DX4800 by mentalchic

Advantages: good quality
Disadvantages: slow at printing, uses a lot of ink

...course. My parents had the epson dx4800 and decided that i could have their printer as they would buy a new one. I had previously had an epson printer and found the print quality very good so i was excited about trying out this printer which is an all in one so also scans and photocopies documents. Installation The printer is very easy to install as it comes with the software so all you have to do is plug the printer in and connect it to the computer ...
...allows you to visit the epson website if you have a problem which you require help with. On the epson website you can look for further help to your problems which are not on the user manual. Also it allows you to email them a question if you can not find the answer online. Printing I find that the printer prints in very good quality in both black and colour and is great for printing photos as they are printed in excellent quality. I do however ... Read review
