Well if you fancy yourself as a bit of a photographer and take lots of photos and edit them, but you only use a normal Photo Printer to print your Photos then think again. ...for Gloss opimizer. These are epson original replacements. Printer is quiet and easy to use but I prefer a hard copy manual and not on computer pdf supplied on disk. This printer also prints onto printable Cd/Dvd's and comes with accessories to you allow to do this. It also came with a full set of full inks. My previous printers have only come with 50% full inks. Printer utility disks are usefull and allow easy print head cleaning and nozzle checks ...

Disadvantages: warm tint to photos, no card reader (doesn't bother me though!)

...The nice thing about the Canon cartridges is, if you don't believe what the computer is telling you, you can take the cartridge out - by simply opening the top of the printer - and see how much ink there is left. Its made of see-through plastic. The two paper feeds are very useful. If you're used to an Epson printer the top feed will be familiar.
