I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great ... ...Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. The printer is very frugal with the ink, it seems to keep printing and printing without the levels going down rapidly.
