Excellent product - BEST ON THE MARKET
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 by tailorsanjay

Advantages: Quick, Small, Quiet, EASY to use, user friendly software, easy to deploy on the network
Disadvantages: Its too good!

...definitely THE BEST! The Dymo LabelWriter is amazing. It works via a network switch and print server when most printers/other label writers do not work. Its small, its SO user friendly with the DYMO Label Software. Its very very easy to fix faults when they arise (not very often) and its very quick and quiet. The LabelWriter software itself is one of a kind - it allows you to print labels in batches, via an addin in Word, Excel and Powerpoint - ...
...is excellent, especially with the DYMO personalified labels. I have 10 of these in my organisation and they are becoming extremely popular. The cost of these little things are next to none - most other label writers cost over £130!! Its so good that I've bought one for my own use at home. I would definitely recommend this product. ... high end printer.
Review of Lexmark X4550 by techno_man_37

Advantages: looks
Disadvantages: no colour screen

...space on your desk. Lexmark make a lot of printers and all in ones these days, this Lexmark X4550 is at the higher end of the range, however it will only cost you a great, £65 from most places. The design of this model is very stylish indeed. It is like a very cool rounded slab design and is three main colours. White, aluminium and light grey. The top white part of the printer is home to the scanner, this is very easy to use and you can either ...
...would have liked to see Lexmark add a colour screen panel onto here so that you could view photos and other things before you print them off. Why I say this colour screen would be nice to see photos is because to the right hand side of this are 2 memory card slots, also there is a usb port for plugging your digital camera straight into the printer and printing your photos off, so it is a real shame that there's not a colour screen to use this option ... Could be just a little better
Review of Brother P-Touch 2420PC by IntraSpark

Advantages: Easy to use, create professional looking labels
Disadvantages: Limited design flexibility, poor quality graphics reproduction

The P-touch 2420 seemed to offer the best combination of functionality and cost in a PC-enabled label printer, although this op does not provide a comparative analysis of other models on the market, as the 2420 is the only one I've tried... THE BASICS It should be clarified that this is a THERMAL MONOCHROME printer - don't be misled by colourful marketing blurb promising 'colourful labels'. The only possibility of introducing colour is by changing ...
...is a range of tape options (all supplied separately by the manufacturer), which allow the printing of black graphics and text on white, red, yellow, green and transparent coloured backgrounds. The tape, as I refer to it, is a cartridge of self-adhesive PVC (slightly thicker and tougher than sellotape) specially designed to provide the medium for printing onto. Cartridges slot in and out of the machine much like a toner cartridge on laser jet. The ... Read review

what more could you want?
Review of Lexmark X3550 by techno_man_37

Advantages: price for what it does
Disadvantages: could have an lcd screen

...do a review on this Lexmark for a few reasons, not only is it a fantastic printer, but the main reason I decided to review to was that I have had some comments saying other all in one Lexmark printers I have reviewed are a bit on the pricy side. And I agree, so here is a fantastic printer, made by Lexmark, who make and specialise in designing and making quality printers. Its does a lot of things and even has some capabilities built it that for a ...
...of my favourite designs that Lexmark have done, it is very similar to the X3550, however there are a few differences. The best way to describe its shape is to describe it as three separate blocks glues together to give an amazing, almost sculpture like looking all in one printer. The first section at the top, is home to the scanner, the bottom is home to the paper out section and the part on the side 2 memory card reader slots built into it for ... Read review

Oh Brother, where art thou labels!
Review of Brother P-Touch 2100VP by andycharger

Advantages: Lots of extra functions, nice carry case
Disadvantages: mains operated, expensive

...Dymo and opted for the Brother P-Touch 2100VP. Firstly, the Brother label printer comes in a handy carry case. Great for carting it around the office. Inside the rigid grey plastic case is the printer itself, its power supply and spare labelling reams. Possibly its only shortcoming is the Dymo was quicker and easier to use as it was battery powered and therefore did not require plugging in for a quick one off label. One massive advantage with ...
...printer i have seen. Definitely worth a purchase if looking for one. Manufacturer support is also very good and the brother website has plenty of info regarding user manuals and instructions when configuring the machine. The included manual is more than enough to get you up and running initially though. ... Read review
