Photo printer cheap as chips
Review of HP PhotoSmart 8050 by roy.jennings1

Advantages: Good resolution, neat features
Disadvantages: None found

...photo printing, rather than the HP stuff that comes with the printer. (my opinion) I would seriously recommend the printer, I have only had it for a few weeks so far, but am very pleased with the results its given me. The cartridges are a little on the dearer side than other manufacturers. But I would recommend using the GENUINE ones rather than cheap after market type. I haven't been able to use the printer on my LAN NETWORK, which was simple ...
...I haven't installed something by mistake. I know it does say not a network printer, but either was my last one.. lol. I haven;t bothered to go into all the technical spec's like dpi etc... I'm sure if those things are important to you making a choice it would be better to look at the manufacturers website... For those who can't understand all the technical mumbo-jumbo. The spec's are on the higher end than most printers of the £50 price bracket. ... Read review

Review of HP PhotoSmart 7660 by thingywhatsit

Advantages: All in one.
Disadvantages: None.

Last week my old Hewlett Packard Printer died. I was not a happy bunny because I depend on my printer a lot. Not only were the cartridges costing a fortune, but the results were getting worse and worse, and even after cleaning the ink cartridge heads, nothing improved the quality. DECIDING WHICH TO BUY There are a lot of printers on the market offering all kinds of options and here is was difficult to make a choice as so many companies offered ...
...evolved so much since I last bought a printer, and I decided to research rather a lot before deciding between this printer and the Epsom Stylus 2200 and the Epsom R320 which came pretty close on spec, but the Epsom was pricier and to my mind did not offer as much as the Hewlett Packard did, nor did I like the design of the machines as much as this one. UNPACKING It's a little like Christmas. The printer was tidily wrapped and with it came power ... Read review

Great printer! Great Software! Great results!
Review of HP PhotoSmart D5160 by monkeybrother

Advantages: Simple and easy to use, comes with full instructions, Works great!, Great quality
Disadvantages: Can't think of any disadvantages at the moment!!

This is my second ever printer. The Printer before this one was about 5-6years old so when i got this new one it was like entering a new world. The draft setting is amazing. The printer literally prints so quickly that the paper gets spat out! I found this amazing! From the old one to this one there is a huge step! I have also recently got a camcorder with an SD card. I used to have to plug in the camera and the computer had to go though all the ...
...camcorder. But now i have an SD card reader included in the Printer! It also has: XD reader, MS/DUO reader, CF reader and MMC reader! Using the SD card reader means that i can open up my videos and pictures so much more quickly. There was one problem. When we got it there was no lead which connects it to the computer. I dont know if it was a mistake but it was very anoying. But i luckily found a cable and it was very easy to set it up with the ... Read review

More haste less speed
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7450 by lexy77

Advantages: Quality prints
Disadvantages: Not the quickest printer ever

...this one for a normal text document. After a couple of minutes it was still printing the first page and I panicked about how much ink it was wasting and stopped it. The HP website is really useful as well if you have any queries or need any help. ... Read review

Picture Perfect Without the Blues
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7960 by TheChocolateLady

Advantages: Separate paper tray for smaller paper, neat screen to preview pictures, pretty blue colour, takes all memory cards and USB cables
Disadvantages: Had to get the instruction manual on-line, and it took forever to download and then it wouldn't print for me!

...a colleague of his, the HP Photosmart 7960 was the one he chose. Thing is, while this printer was available abroad for some time, we had to wait two months to purchase it here in Israel. Of course, our VAT being what it is, and import duties still being very high at the time, we ended up paying close to US$600 for our machine but I see from their web page that the listed price in the UK is £249 (see Technical Stuff below for URL and specifications ...
...a memory card or an HP camera into this printer, you can see the pictures on the screen. Then you can look at all the pictures on the card or camera without even downloading them or printing them. That screen also works as a menu for when you need to do special things like change preferences. It's also the area where you'll get messages when the paper runs out or the ink is too low. While the screen isn't terribly large, it is just large enough to ... Read review
