It Does Its Job!
Review of HP Deskjet D1460 by
eggandmushroom
Advantages: Compact, Reliable, Easy to move around
Disadvantages: Only use for personal or home use
...a standard job.
Being HP I havent had any major problems, and it was easy to set up to laptop and another home computer. The model is standard but this printer is always reliable and with 16ppm you are not always waiting around for prints if you are on the move.
Overall a sound printer. ...

A not very good machine
Review of Lexmark Z 640 by
milc03
Advantages: Cheap, prints
Disadvantages: Breaks, low printing, not good colour
I bought this printer a couple of years ago and since then it has been nothing but trouble. It was OK to start with, printing at a good speed, good colour. But, however after about a year the printing began to become so slow it takes an eternity to print one page. Also, the colour isn't as good as it used to be so we are printing sub-standard things. Recently, the printer has given up completely and we cannot print at all. The printer is quite hard ...

although its cheap it does the job!
Review of Epson Stylus D78 by
murphy747
Advantages: cheap, quick and simple to use
Disadvantages: very expensive ink and prone to leaving streaks
this printer is very much a basic printer, it is quite prone to clogging and leaving streaks on the paper, and recently has decided that it likes to eat paper! saying this though, it was a very cheap printer and does the job quite well, it is not too bad on ink, however doing a comparison against my old printer (same make) it seems to use a lot more black ink. and although the printer was extremely cheap and worth the money, the ink is more expensive ... ...printer was made before feb 07 there are no compatible ink cartridges and the built in chip cannot be tamperede with, but if the printer was made after feb 07, compatibles can be bought. but how you tell exactly when the printer was made, how long had it been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse! i do love the printer, its quite fast and quite clear for its lower end price bracket, and has detachable paper shelfs. great for small spaces. ...

Good Value Product
Review of Lexmark P350 by
Nazuku
Advantages: Cheap and convenient
Disadvantages: None
This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can ...

Cheap and chick
Review of Canon PIXMA IP1800 by
alexloukakis
Advantages: Value for money, design
Disadvantages: Size, no paper tray
I was looking for a printer that would be good value for money. I came across the Epson iP1800 and I really fell for the colour and design and its glossy finish. What dissapointed me though was that their was no cable inside, which was to cost me another £10-15 to purchase and no paper tray for prints, somethin I have never before seen missing in a printer. The iP1800s printing quality is perfect for me, but it was a little disspointing when I printed ... ...still the images where not as impressive as my last HP printer. The software which it came with was very basic, just photo printing tools. Overall however, it is exceptional value for money, and it's design will allow the printer to fit in with most surroundings and decorational tastes. The main drawbacks for me where the size and the fact that their was no cable inside. ...
