Advantages: Colour, compact compared to other laser and fits on desktop, laser. Disadvantages: Still quite large compared to an ink jet.
I bought one of these babies because I hate inkjets and love laser. This was the only one I could really afford which was small enough to fit on my desktop and had colour.
Laser printers are better than inkjets because they give a crisp and professional look to word documents and spreadsheets. Even with a fine quality inject it still looks home-made unless it is on hideously expensive paper. Therefore the LBP 5000 it makes my assignments look great. ... ...pictures which sends shivers down my spine with excitement.
It is generally understood that lasers are far better value for money on a long-term basis. When you replace cartridges in an injet they can cost £15 plus for each colour. A replacement toner cartridge for the LBP5000 laser printer is around £50, however they need replacing far less frequently. Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: Not the smallest or Best looking

You do the maths, compare to any other laser printer and then buy this one, because if you are on a budget you won't find anything cheaper. That is the best thing ...

Advantages: Qulaity, Speed, Network Adapter Disadvantages: Size of paper tray
This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter. I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great ... ...Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. The printer is very frugal with the ink, it seems to keep printing and printing without the levels going down rapidly. The cartridges arent cheap checkout dells website. This is to be expected for a colour laser though. Caution. This is heavy 2 people are ...
