It really works it's life!!!
Review of Lexmark Optra E+ by bcnlondon

Advantages: Very long working life
Disadvantages: Installation might be a pain in the neck!

...PS2 under the name e.g. Lexmark PS2 and once - better printing quality - as a PCL5 under the name Lexmark PCL5 - faster print speed) and try to use it once as a PS2 and once as a PCL5. This will confuse the printer driver which will start printing the printer software code. For your own protection I strongly suggest you to avoid installing MarkVision (the Lexmark printing control panel facility) which was especially made by Lexmark to drive you ...
...heavy duty printers ever! Lexmark recommends to print on paper stock of up to 180 gsm, while I have printed - with a little pushing - paper stock of up to 300 gsm with no problems. If you are a graphic designer, you will find Optra E+ (with PS2 enhancement) ideal for printing in-house newsletters and other mass mailing documents (brochures, flyers etc.). The Optra E+ prints at 15 (heavy graphics + pictures) to 30 (text + simple line art graphics) ... Read review

Finally, an affordable and reliable laser printer!
Review of Samsung ML 2010 by annatawse

Advantages: Price, Speed, Volume, Simplicity
Disadvantages: Picture quality

We purchased this laser printer over a year ago now, and it's never let us down yet! It's a nice size, very sturdy and was very easy to set up - pretty much just plug in and use. The real plus here, is the price. For your money you get a simple yet reliable printer. The printing speed really impressed me, much faster than any inkjet I've ever used. It's also a lot quieter than some laser printers I've used, and definitely quieter than any inkjet. ...
...had to replace the toner cartridge once, and changing it was a breeze. I'd say the only downside is the picture quality, not the sharpest. But for document printing, which is what I use it for most, it's perfect. If you're looking for a fast and affordable printer, I'd definitely recommend this model. ... Read review

Samsung ML4500 Brilliant!
Review of Samsung ML 4500 by Seton

Advantages: Cost, reliability, ease of use, top quality print, compact size
Disadvantages: It's a hard working, reliable Volvo, not a Jaguar

...I would always stick with Samsung and I might look for one that prints more copies per minute and possibly in colour simply because of the job that I do, but if there was nothing suitable I would be delighted to buy the exact same model and would happily pay three times what I did. The fact that you can now get this model for nearly half the price is amazing. If you want clever extras and fancy tricks it might not be the model for you, but if you ...
...a year at @ £40), extremely hard working and problem free, I'm very happy to recommend this printer. The quality of print is excellent (I create professional books, thesis, wedding invitations and high quality business documents.) with great sharpness on a range of different papers. I've never had any problem with it and you can literally take it out of the box and go. ... Read review

not fab, but good for the money
Review of HP LaserJet P1005 by princesslaura

Advantages: not too big, quiet
Disadvantages: not a fantastic printer

...husband has been using the HP Laserjet P1005 at work for the past few months. His [much more expensive] laserjet broke down and he was quite put out to receive this in return! Amazon charges £69.75 for this product [with free delivery within the UK]. At this price you know that the printer is not going to be top of the range, however, it's not total rubbish by any means. It prints at speeds of up to 14ppm [which is no good for high volume printing ...
...1200-dpi. It has a 133 MHz processor and 2 MB of memory. One advantage of this printer is that it is fairly small in comparison to many others on the market [which saves on valuable deskspace - more room for coffee cups!]. It is also quite quiet [my husband's last printer sounded like an aircraft taking off whenever it was turned on]. It comes with a 150 sheet input tray, which I would consider adequate for most home use. Hi-speed USB 2.0 connectivity ... Read review

The real Black beauty aka Samsung ML 2010R
Review of Samsung ML 2010R by arunred20

Advantages: COST, SPEED, PRINT QUALITY, DESIGN
Disadvantages: I FOUND NONE

...model and I purchased this Samsung ML 2010 R. At a price of Rs 5000(110$), it had a lot of advantage over the HP in terms of cost, memory size up to 8mb.Its standard cartridge gives a print for may be for a 2000, as I was told. Its a Concorde of the printers at 19,20,18 ppm under my observation. I am a university graduate and I need a B/W prints and I got a real Black beauty doing the job for me. It has a good design and fits comfortably at a corner, ... Read review
