Review of Canon PIXMA IP3500 by techno_man_37

Advantages: cheap for what it does
Disadvantages: not alot of features

The canon pixma ip3500 is a great buy, its good quality it looks very cool but best of all its cheap too. In fact this little machine will only cost you around £50, and for a great printer, what more could you ask for. Just because it's a little printer, and its not very expensive, don't just make the assumption that this doesn't print fast. This printer has the capability to print out a massive 25ppm in black text. It prints colour pages out ...
...at 10.4ppm. The print quality isn't amazing, however id say its above average. The black print looks nice and really sharp when printed, and the colour pictures come out fine on this printer when printed. When its all closed up, this printer looks like a nice box, it does have curved sides making it look more stylish and making sure it doesn't poke anyone's eyes out. When not in use all the flaps and panels fold up nice and easy, so that when its ... Read review

Perfect Printouts
Review of Canon PIXMA IP6210D by piggypine

Advantages: No need for a pc as you can print from memory cards!
Disadvantages: Expensive ink. No usb provided.

...printer he bought me the Canon Pixma IP6210D. The printer is quite boxy looking despite a few curves in the design, it’s grey and black colouring will fit alongside most computer equipment and with my pc, keyboard and mouse. As well as the printer inside the box was also a chunky manual with all the info you would need(in several languages) an easy to follow “Software and User Guide” disc for your pc, a pack of 6x4 sized photo paper, a colour ink ...
...I was not supplied with was a USB cable to link the printer to my pc which I was very unimpressed with, while I could still print from memory cards I was unable to print from desktop software and in fact could not completely install the machine until I had found a suitable wire, I do wonder if this was a deliberate mistake though as I’ve checked the company website and they are selling the cables separately, what a cunning way to make a little extra ... Great budget printer.
Review of Canon PIXMA IP1800 by pdmg

Advantages: Excellent text
Disadvantages: No letter tray!

...on my previous experience of Canon printers - I opted for a Pixima with FINE technology. I already have a very good photo printer in the shape of the Epson R800, and an Epson 830U which I use for rough drafts as it is on it's last legs. Fact is, I needed a printer to print decent quality letters and the odd mixed text and image sheet. I previously used an old Canon S520 but it finally gave up the ghost, and I have to say the i1800 - at about a quarter ...
...capable machine. It prints in various modes (high, standard, draft and custom) and in high quality mode, the text is as good as any printer I've seen. It's not fast though, so if you print a lot of text you may want to look at a laser. Printing tecxt over colour (a sample web page) was not so hot, but I don't really care! Photo printing is acceptable, though I didn't buy it for that purpose and only printed one quick pic to get an idea. I imagine ... Read review

Canon Pixma
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by jay_001

Advantages: great looking printouts, very attractive design, quick prints, low prices
Disadvantages: does not include a paper output tray

...most PC workstations. The Canon iP2500 does not include a paper output tray, some users may find this a nuisance as they will need to catch their prints as the printjob finishes to prevent them falling onto the floor/desk. Connects to the PC via USB interface, is compatible with Windows/Mac. This printer comes with a Creative CD and a pack of matte paper (quite a few sheets in the pack). For the price I have seen this for, it's definitely worth ... Read review

Great printer! Great Software! Great results!
Review of HP PhotoSmart D5160 by monkeybrother

Advantages: Simple and easy to use, comes with full instructions, Works great!, Great quality
Disadvantages: Can't think of any disadvantages at the moment!!

This is my second ever printer. The Printer before this one was about 5-6years old so when i got this new one it was like entering a new world. The draft setting is amazing. The printer literally prints so quickly that the paper gets spat out! I found this amazing! From the old one to this one there is a huge step! I have also recently got a camcorder with an SD card. I used to have to plug in the camera and the computer had to go though all the ...
...camcorder. But now i have an SD card reader included in the Printer! It also has: XD reader, MS/DUO reader, CF reader and MMC reader! Using the SD card reader means that i can open up my videos and pictures so much more quickly. There was one problem. When we got it there was no lead which connects it to the computer. I dont know if it was a mistake but it was very anoying. But i luckily found a cable and it was very easy to set it up with the ... Read review
