good quality cheap printer
Review of Lexmark Z 601 Color Jetprinter by techymasterj

Advantages: Cheap, good quality, easy to install, shows ink levels, small, compact, USB
Disadvantages: ink is expensive

...disadvantage is the price of Lexmark ink, you could buy another printer for less! There is ways around this. Tesco's also sell there own brand ink which is half the price and of course there are refills. I personally buy ink on EBay very cheapley. If you are looking for a good quality printer, mainly for home use - I strongly recommend this one. ... Read review

Good overall but not the best
Review of Lexmark P 915 by tillyallen

Advantages: Brilliant quality and wide range of card slots.
Disadvantages: Expensive if replacing cartridges each time (DON'T, REFILL INSTEAD!!!!)

The Lexmark P915 is perfect for anyone needing printouts of documents and professional quality photos. The speed of the P915 is quite impressive but not the fastest printer. The quality is superior due to its large consumption of ink per print!! Although the ink is drained out of the cartridge very quickly, they can easily be refilled using a budget refill kit and saves you hundreds of pounds overall. The paper support isnt the best design and sometimes ...
...all if not positioned exactly correct. The wide range of memory card slots of hte P915 allows many cards to be attached but unfortunately for me, my XD card isnt actually recognised by the printer but is by the Olympus camera which came with the bundle (don't know what happened there!!) The ease of use of the P915 is simple; the menu clearly outlines the tools you can use to provide optimum quality such as clean cartridges and test pages. Overall, ... Read review

Cheapest printing you'll ever do
Review of Lexmark Z 640 by DCISmith

Advantages: Very very VERY cheap to run, if you know what you are doing. Reasonable quality
Disadvantages: No USB cable supplied

Bought for printing out mainly text as I was starting college, upon unboxing I found that there was no black ink cartridge supplied. However, if you scout around amazon, you will find that number 17 and 27 ink cartridges are extremely cheap, so I ordered a no 17 black for around £7. After having done so, the printer was still cheaper than most of the competition. I now mainly use it for photo printing on glossy 4x6 paper. For this the quality is ...
...of this printer is the refill possibilities. The coloured caps come off the cartridges and they are very easy to refill. I run mine - I kid you not - on food colouring. There is no reason why not, the colours printed are rich and if it ever breaks the print head, the cartridge would have been in the bin long ago so it is no loss (the print head is built in to every cartridge). I have done around 80 4x6 pictures as well as some A4 pictures since buying ... Read review

Cheap Printer
Review of Lexmark Z 735 by matty168

Advantages: Cheap,Easy to install
Disadvantages: cheap design,expensive to run,limited

Lexmark are a fairly well known brand and generally do cheap printers and all in one printer and scanners. The Lexmark Z 735 printer is basic printer and comes with one colour cartridge which will print both colour and black for you however if you likely to be justy printing black then i would suggest buying a black ink cartiridge. However be prepared to fork out at least £20 as lemark ink carts are very pricey. In some cases it is actually better ...
...set or ink cartiridges for a printer which is a complete waste!. The printer is supplied with a manual, printer power cable and the driver installation CD . The look and feel of the printer is rather cheap but i suppose this is expected for this price. It is also a a fair sized printer too and isn't the prettiest looking printer i've ever seen. In order to set-up the printer,it is just a matter of plugging in the usb cable into the usb port, inserting ... Read review

lexmark all in one
Review of Lexmark X2580 by techno_man_37

Advantages: design
Disadvantages: could have a screen

...great standard of quality too. Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality. The best way to describe its shape is to describe it as three separate blocks glues together to give an amazing, almost sculpture like looking all in one printer. The first section at the top, is home to the scanner, the bottom is home to the paper out section and the block onto the ...
...that are on top of the printer to make them nice and easy to get to. They isn’t a screen on this however, which I think would be very useful, but still for a printer for under £40 what more can you really want. Having an all in one, doesn’t only work out cheaper, but it also means you have so much more space on your desktop, as you don’t need space for a printer and a scanner, now you’ll just need space for this all in one ...
