Review of Lexmark X2550 by
techno_man_37
Advantages: all in one
Disadvantages: none yet
...huge booklets, I saw this Lexmark X2550 for £50, and it just looked like what I wanted in a printer.
So I taped in the numbers like you do, and it came up at a reduced price, of just £39.99 so I would be saving £10 on it. So I pretty much just bought it straightway as it looked the best one there and quite cheap too.
When I got home, I plugged it in, and it just took a while to install the ink cartridges, however this was really easy and ink did ... ...laptop by USB, it found and installed it straight away in less than 10 seconds and I could print within that time. This was great as I was unsure if I would have to install it with the disks it comes with.
It does also come with a photo suite cd, I haven’t yet tried this as I do have other, and probably better photo editing software that I have purchased in the past.
The basic layout of the printer, is the paper feeder is at the top, the ...

better than office ones.
Review of Lexmark X4850 by

Advantages: fast, design
Disadvantages: price,
...in one printer from the Lexmark company, I actually got the chance to test this one a few weeks before Christmas, so here’s what I thought of it.
Firstly it looks fantastic, and you can tell this is a more modern one by its cool square shape and shiny plastic panels.
But the main thing I like about the design of this, is that it comes in different sections, what I mean by this is that there seems to be three different parts to it, firstly ... ...section at the bottom, then finally the screen part, this is what has the screen, the buttons and some memory card readers on it.
And all of these sections are clearly different cubes and I just think it makes it look a lot cooler and more modern.
This really is a space saving device, you would usually have to have a printer, and a scanner, which would both be around the same size and take up double the space of this one handy device.
Also they ...

Lexmark E120N - Networked Laser Printer
Review of Lexmark E 120n by
fuzzyworm
Advantages: Built-in network print server, fast printing, fairly low cost, support for Linux
Disadvantages: Non-trivial, but not impossible, network installation under Windows XP
...major problem for me, as Lexmark consumables are notoriously expensive. However, after reading up on it a bit, I find that Lexmark offer a 'Returns Program' toner, which is priced at a reasonable level, with the condition that the toner be sent back to them after use, presumably to compete with the likes of Cartridge World.
As I have mentioned, the main requirement for me was that the printer supported Linux, and this one does. It also supports:
... ...was quite easy, using the Lexmark provided utility.
Once I had it running, it was impressive to behold. Having had a reasonably fast inkjet printer before, I was expecting it to be fast, but this thing blinded me with its speed. It is rated at 19ppm (A4), 20ppm (Letter), and I would believe it too. The specification says that the printout of the first page should be within 8 seconds, and this could reasonably be said to be true.
Image quality, ...

Paper Jams R Us!
Review of Lexmark T 640n by
andycharger
Advantages: Speed, functionality, robustness
Disadvantages: Paper Jams, High Consumable Price, Maintenance
Lexmark may not be the first name you think of when you consider purchasing a new printer for home or at work. They are not what I would consider to be one of the "big names" in printer. People normally think of Cannon, Epson and HP.
However, this is a very robust manufacturer for office and home printing solutions, if a little expensive on consumables.
Reason for purchase.
This printer is actually recommended by our software supplier as it is ... ...the high Yield toners from Lexmark and these will set you back between £160-£200 each. Very pricey and lets the printer down badly. However for this you do get your 30,000+ pages of print easily. Fitting is quite straightforward but again you need to open 2 doors to fit it and remember to close them in the right order! The times i have not and then needed to open it all up again.
Remember it is a monotone printer so you only need to buy black ink ...

Perfect Printer for all needs!
Review of Lexmark C 534dn by
porsch19099
Advantages: Good quality, looks good, easy setup, fast.
Disadvantages: Heavy to life, big box, a bit noisy when working, no cables included
...to be downloaded from the Lexmark website. That file size is about 18MB.
I use this printer to print out flyer for handing out and it does it quickly and efficiently. MUCH fast than my old inkjet obviously. I also put some glossy photo paper in and it printed out lovely pictures nice and quickly.
The on printer menu is easy to use and is similar to the menu that can be found in printer properties. I initially connected it up via ethernet, but found ...
