Excelent Epson, again.
Review of Epson EPL 6200L by
Bolly_eggs
Advantages: Very Quick to print. Good DPI. GREAT value for money.
Disadvantages: Ugly. not practical for large buisness'
Epson EPL 6200L
The Epson EPL 6200 is a ‘High performance A4 mono professional printer’ or so say Epson. Never being afraid to give new technology a go I jumped upon the opportunity to play with this rather large and bulky laser printer. My father is a dentist and he needed a hard wearing, cheap printer to print leaflets, booklets and all manner of other things you generally find information upon.
For a hard wearing and a (long term) cheap printer ... ...it gave the impression that Epson did not have to put much effort into the design of the packaging, a little flicker in my mind hoped that the money saved from the packaging would have been placed back into the printer. Anxious to play with this big, black box I kept glancing over my seat until we arrived home.
Taking the printer out of the box was simple enough, open the slots, remove polystyrene bound printer and your away! The printer came with ...

Epson Stylus C46
Review of Epson Stylus C46 by
dracaena
Advantages: Cheap, easy and produces good quality print and pictures
Disadvantages: Slow speed, short life
Our Epson Stylus C46 was bought 3 or 4 years ago as a standby printer, as our Epson CX3200 was showing signs of advancing age. We paid around £50 for the C46 and were immediately pleased with its performance. Although a little slow, it made up for this by being easy to use, and producing good quality print and pictures. We were, therefore, dismayed to receive the message 'parts in this printer are now beyond their service life' , following which ...

Solid performer Epson Photo R200
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R200 by
GriffMedia
Advantages: quick, image quality, cheap ink, Prints direct to DVD/CD
Disadvantages: No card slot, no LCD
A solid workhorse of a printer, it lacks some of the features of more modern printers but still produces very good results.
You only need the LCD screen and memory card slots that modern printers have if you have no desire to make the best of your prints. Otherwise, like me you will want to re-touch them, crop and alter balances so that the finished article is what you want. I use my printer for producing graphics and covers for wedding DVD's i ... ...before printing. I have had this printer for about 2 years now and it has performed faultlessly in that time. The colour reproduction is excellent and i have no complaints. It only fails to get a 5 star rating because it lacks modern features, not because of the print quality.
It also prints direct to CD/DVD's very well ...

Getting a bit old
Review of NEC SuperScript 860 by
Jamesbrown
Advantages: fast
Disadvantages: no good at graphics
This printer does everything that a larger office laser printer would do but is compact enough for home use. It can do 600 DPI and is fine for letters etc. It is very quick and does not jam much. It doesn’t take much time to warm up and the toner has lasted since I got it (about 4 years ago). It does struggle with large graphics due to a lack of memory. Paper is easy to load. It has not got any software with it. It is also quite quiet for a laser ...

Dell Colour Laser 3110cn Review
Review of Dell Color Laser Printer 3100cn by
MoneyB007
Advantages: Qulaity, Speed, Network Adapter
Disadvantages: Size of paper tray
This is a superb colour laser printer for the money. I use this for business on a daily basis. Although mainly used for B&W printing its very fast. When used in Colour the image quality is fantastic. This printer comes with various means of communication ie parallel, USB and a built in network adapter. I have it linked directly to the router and therefore it can be used as a network printer easily. The menus are very versitile and offer you a great ... ...Ie turning off the colour function to certain users. My only disappointment is that it doesnt come with a larger tray. An additional tray can be purchased as an optional extra at additional cost. The printer is very frugal with the ink, it seems to keep printing and printing without the levels going down rapidly. The cartridges arent cheap checkout dells website. This is to be expected for a colour laser though. Caution. This is heavy 2 people are ...
