Cheap and chick
Review of Canon PIXMA IP1800 by alexloukakis

Advantages: Value for money, design
Disadvantages: Size, no paper tray

I was looking for a printer that would be good value for money. I came across the Epson iP1800 and I really fell for the colour and design and its glossy finish. What dissapointed me though was that their was no cable inside, which was to cost me another £10-15 to purchase and no paper tray for prints, somethin I have never before seen missing in a printer. The iP1800s printing quality is perfect for me, but it was a little disspointing when I printed ...
...still the images where not as impressive as my last HP printer. The software which it came with was very basic, just photo printing tools. Overall however, it is exceptional value for money, and it's design will allow the printer to fit in with most surroundings and decorational tastes. The main drawbacks for me where the size and the fact that their was no cable inside. ... Read review

Photo quality printer. Cheap price.
Review of Canon Pixma IP1300 by ILIKEMONEY

Advantages: affordable
Disadvantages: Looks shabby

...work with any of the canon software or any Photo shop software either. The software provided is ok. It is basic but will allow you to crop and edit photos. It will also let you get rid of red eye and add anything too it if you wish. Some shops have this as an extra so don't assume you will get software with the printer. -Price- I can't argue about the price. It has ranged from £50 all the way down to £15 but most shops sell it at about £20-£25. ...
...It is small as it only uses one colour fine cartridge and it prints great but there is that style issue. Anyway for a great printer this is an amazing price and I couldn't believe it myself when I saw it. I thought I would get a rubbish thing but it is great. As soon as I ordered it I had doubts about it and I wondered if I could get a refund for it but as soon as I opened the box and got it going all doubts where behind me. I now print loads of ... Canon Pixma
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by jay_001

Advantages: great looking printouts, very attractive design, quick prints, low prices
Disadvantages: does not include a paper output tray

...most PC workstations. The Canon iP2500 does not include a paper output tray, some users may find this a nuisance as they will need to catch their prints as the printjob finishes to prevent them falling onto the floor/desk. Connects to the PC via USB interface, is compatible with Windows/Mac. This printer comes with a Creative CD and a pack of matte paper (quite a few sheets in the pack). For the price I have seen this for, it's definitely worth ... Read review

Photo printer cheap as chips
Review of HP PhotoSmart 8050 by roy.jennings1

Advantages: Good resolution, neat features
Disadvantages: None found

...photo printing, rather than the HP stuff that comes with the printer. (my opinion) I would seriously recommend the printer, I have only had it for a few weeks so far, but am very pleased with the results its given me. The cartridges are a little on the dearer side than other manufacturers. But I would recommend using the GENUINE ones rather than cheap after market type. I haven't been able to use the printer on my LAN NETWORK, which was simple ...
...I haven't installed something by mistake. I know it does say not a network printer, but either was my last one.. lol. I haven;t bothered to go into all the technical spec's like dpi etc... I'm sure if those things are important to you making a choice it would be better to look at the manufacturers website... For those who can't understand all the technical mumbo-jumbo. The spec's are on the higher end than most printers of the £50 price bracket. ... Read review

Suberb photo prints
Review of Canon S 330 Photo by newb00ts

Advantages: Excellent print quality
Disadvantages: slightly flimsy

I had been relying on an old black and white printer for far too long. My girlfriend spotted this one and bought it and after hearing good things from her I purchased it from PC World for £69.99. ----Style---- I actually think the printer is quite good looking. It has a smoked perspex front which opens outwards to allow access to the two ink cartridges and the printer head and the paper adjustment lever. Unfortunately it still follows the rather ...
...all its not bad looking and perhaps most importantly it looks and feels solid and well built. Only two buttons are on the printer itself these are the power and cancel button situated on the top just behind the smoked perspex cover. The only problems with the design are the output and input tray which are particulary flimsy and make the printer rather larger once attached. Due to the limited space I have for this printer I don't bother with the output ... Read review
