Great Printer!
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R285 by
Selito206
Advantages: Perfect CD printing, Photo paper printing and normal paper printer quality!
Disadvantages: Large in size and has a few problems in CD printing (as explained in main review)
...ink being not even geniune Epson Ink, was perfect and high quality. The problems that i had was after i set everything up, and was about to test print my first few CDs, the printer said something was blocking the printer head. I had to restart the printer several times, and restart the computer 2 times to get it back to working/printing condition. What i learned was that when you want to print on CDs, you turn on the printer, and wait until it has ... ...ebay, and really it does not affect image quality as i have been using Epson for years and never bought genuine epson branded ink. Plus you can save a lot by buying Epson (in particular R285) because you can buy a CISS system for it reducing your printing costs significantly!!! ...

CANON PIXMA IP4500
Review of Canon PIXMA IP4500 by
Cyber-Mark
Advantages: sleek looks, not the ususal vanilla unit in the corner, quiet
Disadvantages: Slight premium when initially buying the printer, some ink can be expensive
...I was fearful of the Canon ink being at a premium. This has proved not to be the case, with the ink no dearer that other manufacturers. The cartridge set up on this printer lends itself to to ink economy with its separate units, and that is all before you even consider ink re-sellers.
Quiet in operation, superb printing in all modes, including photo reproduction, excellent connectivity and great looks make this a definite recommendation ...

what a picture
Review of Canon PIXMA IP3500 by
techno_man_37
Advantages: cheap for what it does
Disadvantages: not alot of features
The canon pixma ip3500 is a great buy, its good quality it looks very cool but best of all its cheap too.
In fact this little machine will only cost you around £50, and for a great printer, what more could you ask for.
Just because it's a little printer, and its not very expensive, don't just make the assumption that this doesn't print fast. This printer has the capability to print out a massive 25ppm in black text.
It prints colour pages out ... ...at 10.4ppm.
The print quality isn't amazing, however id say its above average. The black print looks nice and really sharp when printed, and the colour pictures come out fine on this printer when printed.
When its all closed up, this printer looks like a nice box, it does have curved sides making it look more stylish and making sure it doesn't poke anyone's eyes out. When not in use all the flaps and panels fold up nice and easy, so that when its ...

Prints Charming
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R2400 by
SnowiestElf
Advantages: Super print quality, super high density inks and improved durability
Disadvantages: Very expensive, does not print well on normal paper and has no memory card slots.
The Epson Stylus Photo R2400, has changed the world of printing forever. This printer was built to replace the Stylus Photo 2200 and is an A3 sized printer. I firmly believe that this must be one of the best quality consumer inkjet printers that has ever been manufactured. It uses a new type of ink technology, called the Ultrachrome K3 system. The printer makes full use of three different colour levels of black ink and some superb driver facilities. ... ...The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 uses 8 colour Ultrachrome K3 technology to produce some smashing results, in the short time that I have been using it, I have obtained amazing results from every print (on Epson papers). It is unusual to find such a high print quality from a desktop inkjet. The fantastic thing about this printer is that it prints on paper right up to a whopping A3 size, it is capable of printing right up to the edge and also on some very ...

Review of Canon PIXMA Pro9500 by
BloodySpike
Advantages: Profesional Photos
Disadvantages: None that I can see
Well if you fancy yourself as a bit of a photographer and take lots of photos and edit them, but you only use a normal Photo Printer to print your Photos then think again. This is one hell of a Printer, you achieve fantastic studio like photos from your DSLR camera. I Went on a bit of a spending spree a few months back and bought one of these, I have only just really got to use it to full potential. Obviously as soon as I got it a played around with ... ...have used it to get studio quality prints out, after using Adobe CS2 Photoshop, which by the way is a brilliant piece of software.
So about the Printer, why is it so good you ask? Well I will till you, This is a professional and excellent style 10 colour A3 photo Printer. So great for printing high resolution prints onto A3 photo paper, but also great for making posters etc. Its not just great for Colour prints but it also produces excellent quality ...
