Xerox Phaser 6110
Review of Xerox Phaser 6110 by
Blimped
Advantages: Cheap colour laser, compact, easy to set up and use
Disadvantages: Noisy, slow, toner refills too small and difficult to obtain
The 6110 printing quality is very good in both colour & b&w even in draft mode. The unit is compact and simple in design. The print speed in b&w is adequate for home use but might be a bit slow for business use. Colour is too slow for anything other than a few copies. The machine is very reasonably priced and compares favourably with other similar printers spech wise.
Downside is the small paper tray (250 sheets) and no add on available. Initial ...

Good enough
Review of Xerox Phaser 6110N by
thewhitewolf
Advantages: small, affordable
Disadvantages: low output
...to business ink-jet printers by Xerox and i wouldn't argue with that at the price that it is sold at. A colour laser printer that is small and manageable its one of many printers in my workplace and heps churn out the vast amounts of corporate information we provide. Its very easy to use and is compatible with your PC or your Mac. Output is quite low at 4 pages per minute in colour and16 per minute in black and white. At 2400 x 600 Image Quality ...

Spoil her and she'll look after you.
Review of Xerox Phaser 6125V/N by
netgekko
Advantages: Solid and Reliable
Disadvantages: Running costs
The Xerox Phaser 6125vn comes from a long line of thoroughbreds, Xerox are experts at turning out solid printers and they even look good. The print quality is more than adequate and there print speed is ok too.
This printer is great for small offices, Estate Agents seem to like them and I can see why, they are reliable and ideal for printing house info with colour pictures of "nice fixer uppers".
There are a couple of drawbacks however, Xerox toner ... ...of warrantee can be frustrating, Xerox will repair but there prices go through the roof and getting parts is an expensive and torturous ordeal if you want to fit them yourself, I have to order bits from France and it can take up to 14 days.
Having said that The Xerox Phaser 6125vn is less likely than most to break down and should give years of faithful service especially if you use good quality paper and toner. ...

Slight Improvement on 8400 Phaser
Review of Xerox Phaser 8560DN by
blondgem
Advantages: does duplex
Disadvantages: not quick enough, now behind with the times
...my last review.
The Xerox Phaser 8560 I have had for two years and decided to keep when I recently upgraded to my super duper printer that is my pride and joy when I am in creative mode at work. The Xerox Phaser 8560 replaced the 8400 a couple of years ago and we saw several improvements to the machine as you normally do, better going forwards than backwards. The Phaser 8560 is a great printer and again takes crayon as opposed to ink that give it ... ...machine installed. No matter what Xerox printer you have the functions are more or less pretty much the same, but as you get to the better models you just have a lot more functions available. The printer has the capability of taking 625 sheets of paper, slightly more than the 8400, however I do feel that these machines are very similar and you should never fill them to capacity as they always jam without fail. I think this is a problem with the manufacturer ...

Phaser 6180n in use
Review of Xerox Phaser 6180N by
Padraig5
Advantages: Fast, economical, good for pictures, easy to connect to a network
Disadvantages: size, paper tray hard to open if kept on the floor
...or so. I choose the Xerox 6180N which cost me under £200. It is very economical. it prints all types of paper formats and is very fast. The network facility works well with my 6 computers on the network and seems to accept documents from one computer running SuSe Linux
The toners can be expensive , but firms like Toner Giant offer very good compatibles. The downside is the size, it has a large footprint and is very tall, and can only take 250 sheets ... ...an expensive second tray.
It is not suitable as a home printer, but would be good for a home office or small business. Saying that , it does produce very good pictures when using mid range photo papers designed for colour laser printers. Anyone printing a lot of colour pictures it could pay for itself very quickly compared to using colour ink jets.
There are many features that i have yet to discover. Fortunately it comes with a good printed instruction ...
