The printer has the capability of taking 625 sheets of paper, slightly more than the 8400, however I do feel that these machines are very similar and you should never fill them to capacity as they always jam without fail. I have recently purchased the Kodak Easy share 5300 to replace my Hp Photo smart,this was due to the rising costs in ink cartridges.The ink for this model cost a very reasonable £6.99 for black and £9.99 for colour.
