I purchased the the Samsung ML-1610 between 2 and 3 years ago and paid £99.00 which I thought was excellent value for a laser printer. It takes quite some time to start up before it prints (this is when it is heating up to almost melt the toner to the page which is why pages come out of a laser printer warm), but when it starts printing, it can print off several full pages of text very quickly. I bought this printer mainly because of it's low cost but also because I liked very much it's predecessor, the ML-1510, which my girlfriend owns. It's cheap and very easy to set up. If anyone owns a ML-1510 and thinking of upgrading to the ML-1520, I don't think there's much point. This is the printer I use at work. Features - Toner Save - uses less toner to save on cartridge costs. This is fine as long as you do not want graphics printed, as light shades of grey are affected much more than black.
