Samsung ML-1610
Review of Samsung ML 1610 by
taylora-2006
Advantages: Very Cheap for a laser printer. Toner Save Function.
Disadvantages: Slow response time. No Printer USB Cable.
I purchased the the Samsung ML-1610 between 2 and 3 years ago and paid £99.00 which I thought was excellent value for a laser printer. It was the cheapest laser printer onthe market at thetime and I'll admit I wasn't expecting it to be a great printer. I was intending to replace it once I had the money to get a better quality one.
Looks-wise the Samsung ML-1610 laser printer is a great looking printer. It is quite compact and been well designed ... ...still being used with most of Samsung's current printers. The printer prints with reasonable quality. It takes quite some time to start up before it prints (this is when it is heating up to almost melt the toner to the page which is why pages come out of a laser printer warm), but when it starts printing, it can print off several full pages of text very quickly. The printer can now be picked up for just £50, best place I've found to buy: e-bay. At ...

Samsung ML-1520 Monochrome Laser Printer
Review of Samsung ML 1520 by
leo2483
Advantages: Fast printing and easy set-up.
Disadvantages: Quality suffers when large quantity is printed at once.
I bought this printer mainly because of it's low cost but also because I liked very much it's predecessor, the ML-1510, which my girlfriend owns. It's cheap and very easy to set up.
If anyone owns a ML-1510 and thinking of upgrading to the ML-1520, I don't think there's much point. They are pretty much identical in terms of its functionality, but the ML-1520 is more square-ish and is the standard grey colour (more 'manly' if you like). Personally ... ...is slightly smaller and lighter.
The pros. The quality of print (especially if printing text only) is superb, even on the starter toner that's supplied with the printer. I have not printed any photos so I can't really comment on that but I have tried printing road maps from the internet. Again the quality is great and I can clearly nake out the individual roads and road names. What I like about this printer is the different ways you can feed in ...

Reliable choice of printer
Review of Samsung ML 6040 by
drewish
Advantages: Reliable. Good quality output. Reasonable value.
Disadvantages: Expensive cartridges. Fiddly manual feed.
This is the printer I use at work.
Features - Toner Save - uses less toner to save on cartridge costs. This is fine as long as you do not want graphics printed, as light shades of grey are affected much more than black. For text, it is a good idea and there is very little difference between the appearance of a page with or without the button on.
The printer is also energy star compliant - meaning that it automatically goes into standby mode if ... ...for the environment, it is not so good if you are in a hurry to print something, as it takes the printer takes an inordinately long while, with much whirring of the paper feed, to warm up and get printing again!
Manual feed - useful for envelopes, odd paper sizes, etc. The manual feed on this model is fiddly, and has to be set using a cheap and tacky button to adjust the paper size. If the printer has gone into energy saving green mode, the whirring ...

THE HP PRINTER
Review of HP Color LaserJet CP1515n by
apatra
Advantages: FAST IN PRINTING AND OF GOOD QUALITY.
Disadvantages: LARGE AND HEAVY.
...bright. The HP printer product has been to me the leader in making good printers because I have used some of other printers and find the HP printer the most advanced both in technology, durability and innovations.
Well I got In contact with this printer in my office and it has been serving very well in my office hold. So in the over all ratings, I will recommend this for office not only that but for professional use also.
The HP printer not only ... ...OF USE.
The hp printer is quite easy to use but before using, there is an instruction manual that is provided by the company and it really assists very well both in installation and in use. What I like most is the rate at which it prints while programmed in the computer. It does not waste time in doing so, once the computer gives the information, in less than three seconds; you get your beautiful print.
The HP laser jet cp1515n has very convenient ...
