Advantages: Profesional Photos
Disadvantages: None that I can see

Well if you fancy yourself as a bit of a photographer and take lots of photos and edit them, but you only use a normal Photo Printer to print your Photos then think again. This is one hell of a Printer, you achieve fantastic studio like photos from your DSLR camera. I Went on a bit of a spending spree a few months back and bought one of these, I have only just really got to use it to full potential. Obviously as soon as I got it a played around with ...
...have used it to get studio quality prints out, after using Adobe CS2 Photoshop, which by the way is a brilliant piece of software. So about the Printer, why is it so good you ask? HP PHOTOSMART PRO B9180 - TOP NOTCH
Review of HP PhotoSmart Pro B9180 by traveller10

Advantages: Quality of print no matter what size
Disadvantages: Cost

...The Photo Printer itself (obviously), HP 70 Printheads (x4), HP 38 Pigment Ink Cartridges with Vivera Inks (8 individual ink cartridges), HP Photosmart Premier Software on CD-ROM, HP ProPrint plug-in for Adobe Photoshop®, user's guide, power cord and a quick start booklet. *************OVERALL************** Most definately this is a printer that is aimed at the professional and creative photographer. It is a real heavy duty printer and there is ...
...capable of copying with heavy duty use. The colour quality is 1st rate as is the speed. It really does give you that superb opportunity to print large photos with A1 quality. I really do have to say that unless you are a serious digital photographer, this is not the printer for you. The price reflects the quality. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this review. I really do hope this has helped you. Please do leave a feedback for me. ... Read review

Prints Charming
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R2400 by SnowiestElf

Advantages: Super print quality, super high density inks and improved durability
Disadvantages: Very expensive, does not print well on normal paper and has no memory card slots.

The Epson Stylus Photo R2400, has changed the world of printing forever. This printer was built to replace the Stylus Photo 2200 and is an A3 sized printer. I firmly believe that this must be one of the best quality consumer inkjet printers that has ever been manufactured. It uses a new type of ink technology, called the Ultrachrome K3 system. The printer makes full use of three different colour levels of black ink and some superb driver facilities. ...
...The Epson Stylus Photo R2400 uses 8 colour Ultrachrome K3 technology to produce some smashing results, in the short time that I have been using it, I have obtained amazing results from every print (on Epson papers). It is unusual to find such a high print quality from a desktop inkjet. The fantastic thing about this printer is that it prints on paper right up to a whopping A3 size, it is capable of printing right up to the edge and also on some very ... Read review

Professional Quality Printing at Home!
Review of Canon PIXMA Pro9000 by catshark88

Advantages: Quality of output, price
Disadvantages: Size, fiddliness of settings

...own pictures. I use Canon digital cameras and decided to go with a Canon printer, both on recommendation and because you often seem to get the best results by using the same brand for a whole process. Anyway, I had a look at some prints from a Pro9000 and was completely blown away by the quality of them. I bought one and am very glad that I did. The printer body is quite large as it can print up to A3 size which is a bit of a pain if you want ...
...you print high resolution prints. Canon consumables are horribly expensive but you can get some good deals on ebay etc. The quality of your prints will be very affected by the grade of paper that you choose. I have found that Canon Paper Pro gives the best results and the next grade down (super glossy) is good for the sizes that Paper Pro does not come in. I have been told that printer paper has a fine layer of surface chemicals and these are designed ... Read review

Epson Stylus Photo R-1800
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R1800 by watso75

Advantages: Ease of use, quality, paper size
Disadvantages: Small ink tanks, Inks run out quite quickly, No LCD display

...for Gloss opimizer. These are epson original replacements. Printer is quiet and easy to use but I prefer a hard copy manual and not on computer pdf supplied on disk. This printer also prints onto printable Cd/Dvd's and comes with accessories to you allow to do this. It also came with a full set of full inks. My previous printers have only come with 50% full inks. Printer utility disks are usefull and allow easy print head cleaning and nozzle checks ...
...the buttons on the printer. One disadvantage is the lack of LCD display. I prefer to be able to see ink levels and printing information on the display as my printer is situated away from my pc. Printing speed is a little slow but I really dont mind if the quality is as good as this. Overall I would recommend this printer due to its excellent quality and value for money, printable size up to A3+. The only disadvantage I could find is that the inks ... Read review
