...for my college course. Make no mistake, dot matrix printers are for text only, don't even consider printing graphics on one - it just looks crap. But as a text-only printer the Microline 520 is very hard to beat. It prints as if it was new, ribbons are very very cheap and last for .... well I can't even remember the last time I changed one. Disadvantages: ink is expensive

...disadvantage is the price of Lexmark ink, you could buy another printer for less! There is ways around this. Tesco's also sell there own brand ink which is half the price and of course there are refills. I personally buy ink on EBay very cheapley. ...you want to use genuine Dymo or compatiable labels. Printing is quick and a bit noisy but nothing to disturbing. I have found the Dymo Customer Services extremely easy to deal with and very helpful with complete followup from the staff. Any problem resolved quickly and in a professional manner.
