Games consoles, they have been around since the late seventies, one of the first being the infamous Atari range. Now we have progressed into the seventh generation of home gaming consoles, with motion-based and controller-less systems such as the Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect. These are doubtlessly fantastic machines and provide endless hours of quality entertainment, but I grew up in a time where we had blocky graphics, tinny sound and awkward controllers that were the 'in' thing.
