Advantages Advantages Small, light weight, Perfect for running with, relatively good value

Disadvantages Disadvantages Touch screen is a bit fiddly, screen may be too small for some peoples liking

With my 1st gen iPod touch reaching the end of its lifespan and my cd collection out growing my Ipods capacity I was looking to buy a new Ipod. When I looked at what the new Nano the Ipod had to offer, I met it with quite a bit of apprehension as when I fist saw it I thought it was like an Ipod shuffle, but with a touch screen. However, after closer inspection I think it is probably the best Ipod Apple has made and here is why: Price: some people have actually complained that the Nano comes with fewer features, but maintains its price. Well I don't really want an Ipod which can take pictures ... more

About 8 years ago me and my husband moved in together and realised collectively we had around 700 CD’s between us. We decided to flog the lot and with the money we made we were able to but an iPod Touch (which at the time I think were around £350!), a docking station and still have plenty of change left over. 8 years on and just before Christmas, said iPod departed us to iPod heaven and we needed to replace it. Obviously since we first bought our iPod the Apple market has totally changed and my husband has an iPhone and has all of his favourite music on there. I on the other hand only like a ... more

Advantages Advantages Good touchscreen, clip on the back for freedom, all key functions from before, plus Nike+

Disadvantages Disadvantages Because of small screen, touchscreen can sometimes be tricky, search function missing.

After my 3rd generation Nano died on me I was stuck using my unreliable, low-on-memory-space phone for music for months, so was thrilled when I received the latest Nano for Christmas! The first thing to draw my attention to it was how much the Nano had decreased in size from before, now being so small it can fit snugly in the palm of your hand. However, I find this to be a great advantaged as it means you can fit it anywhere and it won't take up much room. Likewise, with the added clip on the back and the Nike+ programme within it, its small size makes it comfortable to wear when exercising ... more

Advantages Advantages indestructable, shock proof, still works like new after many years of use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages the wheel is tempermentall at times and can be sensitive.

an awesome gadget, has lasted way longer than i expected, still works great never had a problem with it at all. if i could i would buy another that has atleast 32 gb of memory or more because im always uploading new music to it and it is just overall an amazing product by Apple. I would predict that on any given day it would outlast the ipod touch only because of the screen size, i think its the best ipod because it has a moderately sized screen that doesnt have a huge area so if it were to get dropped on any thing it would have a better chance at not breaking and the ipod shuffle is too small ... more

Advantages Advantages Size, good sound quality, easy use.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Small screen.

In my opinion, this is a great Ipod for the consumer that enjoys listening to music and taking videos. The ipod contains a camera that is good for taking short videos, and their are many effects you can add to make your videos unique. The ipod will hold a good amount of songs, and I think that the sound quality is great. The ipod is very stylish and comes in a multitude of colors that you can choose from to express yourself. It is very lighweight and a good sized ipod compared to the ipod touch. I belive this product is a smart buy if you want to listen to music. If you wanted to watch more ... more

Advantages Advantages Overall, very good. Long battery life.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can find better sound quality - but not coupled with the overall experience of the ipod nano.

Everything about this ipod is pretty much perfect and it is hard to find fault. Firstly, the design is sharp and of course it comes in a large range of colours to suit everyone. You can also personalise your ipod with your own engraved message which is a really nice feature. The finish is good and while other ipods with the silver backs are notorious for being easy to scratch this isn't a problem with the ipod nano and you can expect the perfect finish to last. The bigger screen is another excellent addition and enables you to watch tv programmes on a nano, and I believe this is the only nano ... more

Advantages Advantages Looks great, sounds great, range of features, video camera, different colours available

Disadvantages Disadvantages Disappointing loudspeaker, pedometer not as accurate as I'd hoped.

I first bought the 4G 8gb iPod nano, after saving up £108 after my birthday. Then, Apple released the 5G and I decided I'd have to get it; again, released after my birthday. (I had to buy the gorgeous emerald green one, rather than another red.) The 5G has a shiny new look to it in comparison to the matte 4G, which I liked. It also has added features, which I will cover further on in my review. The sound quality is good, but I did notice that it is a bit quieter than the 4G, due the the addition of the video camera. Of course, the quality is more dependant on the earphones you use with it, and ... more

Advantages Advantages Large memory, good sound quality, video recorder, great sound quality.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Easily scratched,.

When I first recieved this iPod, I was very excited. I purchased it as an upgrade to the 2nd generation model, and my first thought was how great the larger screen was for displaying photos and videos. I also loved the colour: mine is orange, although there is a range of 9 different colours including blue and yellow. Other than the fact that it can hold my entire music collection and a HELL of a lot more- the 16gb memory model holds around 3,500-4,000 songs- what attracted me to this iPod originally was the video recorder. It is a great feature, and the video quality is good considering ... more

Introduction I received this Apple iPod Nano as a gift from my dad for my 25th birthday. The colour of the Apple iPod Nano is lightening blue and he brought it from curry's for £119. Please have a look at the picture of my Apple iPod Nano that I have uploaded. It is quite easy to learn how to use the iPod and apart from listening to music, the ipod has many other features such as a pedometer, video camera, stopwatch etc. How to use the iPod? To start using the iPod, you have to install itunes from the itunes website. Installation of the itunes software takes about 5 minutes. You can then buy ... more

Advantages Advantages Massive range in functions and looks beautiful!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, video camera but no camera - what is the point in that?

'36 grams of power and beauty... Va Va Voom!' Introduction This is a review on the Apple Ipod Nano (fifth Generation) 16GB Mp3. It is not the newest of the Ipod Nano ‘generations’ with the 6th Generation appearing on the scene earlier this year. It can be purchased in a range of flamboyant colours: yellow, purple, green, blue, the special edition Red and many more. Currently (as of late April, the 5th Generation 16GB Ipod Nano is selling on Amazon for just over £200 – £204 to be precise) The brand: Apple – need I say any more Apple is a massive, massive, massive company and manufacturer, both ... more
