    4 Stars Slim Shadey! 27/08/2012

Advantages Advantages Long lasting, easy to apply, nice compact, good applicator, nice colour, colour build up.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Shade wasn't for me.

I bought this product from halfpriceperfumes.co.uk while I was browsing their website and making an order of another few things. I paid just 24p on offer but even at regular price this is only £1.49 no-where near the £5+ other places are asking for this product. I wasn't given a choice of shade but there are quite a few from natural shades to blue and green, I received a green shade and whilst this is not a good colour for me it doesn't detract from the quality of the product. The packaging for this product is rather unique for an eyeshadow it's very very slim and rather long in size so it's ... more

    Advantages Advantages Everything

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None at all

Just recently I have moved flats. You may ask then why I mention that fact in a cosmetic review! Well because I must be the most disorganized person in the world and a few days on amongst all the stuff I own I still haven't found any make-up at all! That usually wouldn't overly fuss me but yesterday was my birthday and I went out with my best mate and parents for a nice meal and then on with her for drinks but whilst I managed to find a few bits to wear (which was a struggle as well to be honest lol) I simply couldn't find my make-up and wasn't prepared to go out with none on at all which I ... more

Advantages Advantages Can experiment with this eyeshadow easily with the brush provided, mirror included.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not many different shades to choose from.

This ombre stretch eyeshadow created by Bourjois is enriched with nylon micro-spheres. I wasn't sure at first what this actually meant when looking at it in Boots, and what made it different to their other eyeshadows. However it states 'ultra-stretchable colour' so I guessed it would be something to do with the ways you can wear it. I liked the colours and it was new so at an introductory price of £4.49 instead of its usual price of £6.49. These are what attracted me to the product in the first place. I wanted a dark grey eyeshadow to wear for a night out, and as I hadn't really experimented ... more

4 Stars A great eyeshadow - at a stretch! Review with images 01/09/2011
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Lovely colour and unique packaging

Disadvantages Disadvantages None really, but it isn't massively superior to other eyeshadows

Shop around! This eyeshadow was purchased on a bit of a whim from the online cosmetics retailers fragrancesdirect.co.uk. The site claims that the original selling price of this eyeshadow is £5.49, while they sell it for only £1.49 – however searching online at other retailers the most I have found it for is £8. I bought the shade called Vert Eritable – a goldy-green shade. There are lots of other blue and green shades in the range, as well as a white and bronze. Super-slim The reason this product caught my eye was the packaging which is really unusual. The compact is extremely long and slim ... more

Advantages Advantages nice packaging; easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages creases horribly

    # of shades available: 8 --What does the promo say?-- "Ultra Stretchable eyeshadow, ultra adaptable result. Eyeshadow that can be stretched and blended infinitely, thanks to its remarkable formula enriched with nylon microspheres. It can be used to create looks that range from subtle to intense - you can have fun experimenting! Contained within a gorgeous compact case, with panoramic mirror and expert brush - it'll look great in your handbag." --Packaging-- In keeping with the young disco queen theme that Bourjois has been using recently, particularly popularised by their Volume Clubbing ... more

Advantages Advantages Everything you could want from an eyeshadow

    Disadvantages Disadvantages next to none

I bought this eyeshadow a few weeks ago, have used it everyday and it is easily one of the best on the market in my opinion. The title 'stretch' is an apt one as this product lasts forever! The powder is pigment concentrated which means that the colors stretch further across the surface of the eyelid than regular eye shadows. - I have tested the product and it is incredibly light and soft on the skin, yet the color is vibrant and strong even when the thinnest layer is applied. This product is very easy for blending with other colors, and sits on the eyelids evenly without creasing or flaking ... more

5 Stars Quick review of Bourjois Ombre Stretch Eye Shadow by Blonde_Panther 29/12/2008
I bought some yesterday in Australia, 29th Dec 2008, and I found it was just superb to put on. I used it with no effort what-so-ever, and didn't have to go over and over and over again, it did just as it says, stretched. It has won me.

4 Stars Best Eye Shadow From Bourjois Review with images 23/06/2008
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Long lasting, not expensive, nice casing, create lots of eye styles

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Only ten colours

Bourjois Paris has been experimenting with their make-up range lately and is trying to create the best make-up using latest technologies. Ombre Stretch eye shadow is an example of this; it uses dense pigments that can be stretched - what does that mean? The eye shadow is feather-light and has the ability to blend without compromising the colour. As you spread the eye shadow the colour doesn't become a faded version of the blue or green you started with. It comes in ten gorgeous shades and produces a satiny finish; it is the nylon micro-spheres that enable this quality (the eye shadow involves ... more
