Advantages Advantages Comes in 2 sizes, does what it says

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little pricey

After my regular shampoo had started making my hair greasy it was time for another change. I had tried most of the shampoos in Tesco's at one time or another so was looking for something new to try. What caught my eye was a slim, oval shaped bottle that was quite wide in bright yellow packaging. I instantly liked the different shape of the bottle and the colour. Picking it up i read the front which had Charles Worthington Salon Shine Results written in silver with Brilliant Shine underneath in bronze. It claimed to give you 'Super Shiney Hair'. My hair had recently become dull and lifeless so ... more

Advantages Advantages Fits in my bag, not tested on animals, cheaper than the large size!

Disadvantages Disadvantages none I can think of..perhaps it is the fact that they are cheaper than the large size

I know this section is for the reviews of all the charles worthington take-aways, but this review is dedicated to the frizz-taming serum product. I have very long hair, down to roundabout my butt, and it tangles very easily, is dry and hard to tame. I long for shiny, lustrous hair! I spotted this product in my local beauty store and after checking the ingredients ( I am against animal testing and the use of animal-derived ingredients) I bought it. It was actually on offer for two for £3, so I bought the conditioner aswell, but this was the product I was most impressed with. I think their ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages too small?

They were orriginally made for holiday makers who didn't want to lug around their usual size (big and heavy) hair products, but they are the new must have products found in most bathrooms around the country. Whatever product you're looking for, i garuntee you will find it in the Charles Worthington collection, found conveiniently in most boots stores up and down the country. The collection contains shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, serums, hairspray and other finishing products, for various hair types and even a 'holiday hair' range - specialising in protecting your hair in the ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, cute and convenient

Disadvantages Disadvantages There's no difference between some of them... at all.

Jayzus! It's probably one of the best offers along the hair care range I'll ever some across... Protection my locks from the killer GHD's at £1.75. Battling those split ends with serum in a pocket sized tube. I don't really think it could get much better. Charles Worthington TakeAways are pocket sized tubes of delight for both your pocket and your purse. The TakeAway range are availible in sprays, gels, waxes, conditioners and shampoos. The sprays have many uses, some bottles being heat appliane protecters, others adding shine to your hair. The gels are mainly serums, reducing split ends and ... more

Advantages Advantages dinky tin, cheap and handy

Disadvantages Disadvantages you need to know how to use just the right amount

I spend a fortune on hair and beauty, so if i think a product is good then its got to be! Ive been using charles worthington dream hair wax for ages and although its good i was getting fed up with how greasy it makes your hair right away. I got a little tin of the take aways sheer brilliance finishing wax, which is light hold, from Boots, it was about £1.65 which i suppose for a tiny little tin its quite expensive but i see it as paying for the convenience of having a dinky pot to carry around with you. the wax is the same light blue-green colour as the tin and smells like mens aftershave. the ... more

Advantages Advantages works really well, not that expensive, package looks fancy

Disadvantages Disadvantages I don't particulary like the smell

----- I wanted to write another review so bad, but I just did not have any inspiration whatsoever. I did some research on various Lush products, but that did not work out either. So, I decided to write a review about Charles Worthington Result Take Aways Hair Healer (Intensive leave-in conditioner) for all hair types. Who? ------ Charles Worthington is a British hairdresser, who is known for his title 'British Hairdresser of the Year'. (He actually won this twice). His goal was to make designer hair care accessible for everybody, so not just for those with a good filled wallet. He once said ... more

Firstly I had best tell you what my hair is like, it is Shoulder length, brown, very thick and extremely frizzy. Gels, waxes, serums, leave in conditioners, deep treatments and many more, I had tried it all but to no avail. My hair just wouldn`t settle down, that was until I saw this.I was a little bit nearer to the perfect hairdo. Know I came across this while I was shopping in boots, and was instantly attracted to it. **** Packaging **** It is a 15ml bottle so it is fairly small as you can imagine, it has a clear bottom with a pink top. This top is a pump dispenser. On the pink top is a clear ... more

I really rate the Charles Worthington range. I think all of the products are absolutely brilliant and do exactly what they say, however they are expensive put you pay for brilliance!!! I am going to give you my opinion on one of the specific take away products... Take Aways SHINE silkening serum I bought this just before my holiday this summer, as I can't live without hair serum; it is one of those products I swear by. Frizzy hair is a complete no no in my opinion!! Especially as there is a cure available!! When I bought it I was aware I was paying a high price for such a minimal amount of ... more

Last week was my week for toiletry buying and this week is my week for telling you all about what I bought. So first on the hit list was Charles Worthington’s Take Away Range. I got a haircut and decided that I would actually try and maintain the style so when I saw these on 3 for 2 in Boots I couldn’t resist. I bought 3 different products from the Take Away range: Shine Silkening Serum, Frizz taming Serum and Shine, Gloss and Refresh Spray. The Packaging I know people don’t always like the packaging being described but in this case it is one of the products assets. The bottles are all very ... more

Advantages Advantages good value, sleek designs,

Disadvantages Disadvantages labels are a bit small

Because I spend a lot of time travelling, I like to travel light, and that includes all my toiletries. I hate packing big bulky items in my case, just for a few days use, then having to pack it all away to come home. I now tend to take free samples or small travel sizes with me, and then I can throw them away, and not have to worry. One of my favourite products to take with me is the CHARLES WORTHINGTON TAKE AWAYS range, they are compact and good value for money. The one I am going to tell you about is CHARLES WORTHINGTON "PARTY TIME BODYWASH". I first bought this on my last trip away. I ... more
