    Advantages Advantages Small, happy and adaptable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They need regular brushing

    It is fun having a new puppy and if only I had a pound for every time people have asked me what breed my new puppy is I would be a rich woman. In fact when I answer, as I sometimes do, that he is a Powderpuff I get some very strange responses indeed. So to wind back the clock a bit I have always loved dogs, years ago I used to breed and show Great Danes but I gave that up when I got divorced and got the 'pensioners' to live with me and my ex had the breeding animals.     Advantages Advantages Oodles of Fun in a Small Package

    Chinese Crested Dogs are rather an "Acquired Taste" - people tend either to love 'em or hate 'em due to their unusual appearance. They are a small dog; in height akin to the toy poodle/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and there are two distinct body types, namely the cobby type and the deer type. The former is as the name suggests a squarer and slightly heavier build than the latter, which looks like a VERY miniature greyhound in shape.
