Advantages Advantages Roomy, excellent visibility, quiet

Disadvantages Disadvantages Going out of production. Terrible website and documentation

I bought this car new, with air conditioning. My previous car was a Renault Extra diesel. I needed a car for a tall person which was also not too long since my parking bay space is limited. I was fortunate to get this version since the new Berlingo (also the equivalent for Peugeot and Volkswagen) is a lot more expensive, and too wide/long. What a relief to have a passenger door! Only one, but so much more convenient than the Renault. Also, it is possible to get in from the driver side since the driver seat folds forwards. The interior trim is also nicer with attention to detail such as a ... more

Advantages Advantages Loads of space, roof space, sliding doors

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none as yet

Being our first proper family vehicle (previous being a Fiesta!) we were unsure what to look for other than space. I believe the Berlingo has it all. Standing in the showroom the car that stood out was the Citroen Xsara Picasso, after bypassing the Berlingo and running straight to the shining Picasso, I thought we had our car. However after taking a second look at the poor Berlingo I could see a great car emerging. - The boot space is second to none with a roller blind style flexible shelf. There ... more

We bought one of these this week after a friend had bought theirs a couple of months ago. They highly recommended their 1.9D so we initially went to have a look at the 2.0HDI because the fuel consumption seemed very attractive. Unfortunately, the extra £2K didn't seem to justify what was basically the same car as the 1.4i. We are expecting our second child so needed something reliable and with enough room to accomodate the family and the pushchairs. We have only had the car for a week and have not noticed anything really bad about it apart from maybe the fuel consumption being a little high ... more
