Compaq 1024

I will start by confessing that I bought this monitor because it was cheap and would fit with the other bits of computer I needed. Given the option, I wuld buy a large beautiful screen with excellent resolution, the sort of thing you could watch DVDs on. Given the option I would like a public transport system that works and no hole in the ozone layer - you no doubt see my problem! It may be fairly old, but as monitors go, this is ace for even the gamers. The Compaq 1024 supports up to 100mhz refresh on a screen resolution of 800x600. It does look Farley old to, ill admit this monitor doesn’t look all it is. When I bought this, it cost me £35; I needed a new monitor because my old one blew up. I took it home, plugged it all in and ran windows, Surprisingly even windows 95 managed to recognize this monitor without any special drivers.
