    I would honestly say that Crucial is by far the best place on the internet to get computer memory. The prices are competitive (although you can find cheaper alternatives) and the website makes it easy. They also have a handy advisor tool which scans your computer to find out what memory your computer is compatible with, and then sends you to a page listing the memory that will work in your machine. This feature alone sets crucial apart from the competition.     I like many people do not know alot about upgrading laptops and in the past have ordered the wrong type of memory or just given up because it is soo baffling. Crucial.com takes all the hassle out of this. They have a program which scans your laptop and tells you the type of memory you need, how much memory your laptop can take and most importantly, how much it will cost. To be honest, my intention was to use cruscial.com to find out what memory i needed and then find it cheaper elsewhere - but crucial.com were actually the cheapest!     I ordered 4GB of RAM (2 X 2GB) from crucial.com. It was a hell of a lot cheaper than other websites I looked at. The site design is very clean and easy to use with just one nav bar at the top. They also provide a really useful program which will scan your computer and show you what upgrades are compatible - which was good for me as I didn't have a clue. The checkout process is very easy to navigate with credit/debit card and paypal support. At this point I also saw they offered free shipping which would take about 3 - 5 working days. Either I'm losing my touch or maybe the mood isn't right, but I recently bought a memory upgrade for my laptop and was impressed with my choice of supplier.     Could not be easier. Select your computer/digital camera/etc. from the drop down menus and the site tells you what choice of memory is compatible. Prices are very reasonable. Delivery was within 24 hours (ordered 2pm arrived next day) and free (and memory works perfectly).

    Crucial.com, yesterday I decided to upgrade to windows vista. I only has 512MB RAM so I decided to upgrade RAM too. I heard lots of people saying that Crucial was really good, and is easy to find out what RAM suits your computer.     When considering upgrades for my computer, memory was one of the obvious ones, but which one and where to get it from was another matter. My first and most obvious choice was eBay, and I spent a while looking, although still not sure what I was looking for.     I bought my PC over a year ago and at the time I didn't really know a great deal about computers. As a result I bout a low spec Dell pc.
