    When we bought our house, one of the first rooms we wanted changing was the bathroom. I have always seen the adverts for Dolphin on the TV and love how the bathrooms look. In the Trafford Centre in Manchester there is a showroom. When we went into the showroom we were given the chance to enter a competition to win a fully fitted bathroom, we entered the competition and a few days later we had a call from Dolphin, not to say that we had one, but they were offering us a free design visit and told us they have some substansial savings.     My parents have currently had a bathroom suite fitted by Dolphin Bathrooms........... well I say finished............ its nothing but un utter disgrace from the company!!! My parents are elderly and they have been through so much stress and upevil in the last week with it....... no hot water for days when the company told them it would be for a few hours!!!! The job has not been done to a high standard with tiles out of line and grout left all over the walls and ceiling!!     I should have taken more notice of the reviews on this site before buying a bathroom from Dolphin. The product is okay - not great, but serviceable. The fitters were helpful - I discovered it was the first time they had worked for Dolphin. However, if it hadn't been for their flexibility, we would never have got the bathroom installed within a reasonable time. The major problem is the inability of the Customer Services staff to deal with issues promptly and efficiently. The first problem we hit was the failure to deliver replacement tiles when many of those initially received were broken. This ... more

    In my opinion, I would never let Dolphin Bathrooms into my own house. I was interviewed for the position of Sales Designer and I may be unemployed and strapped for cash at the moment but as i learned more about the role i decided to pass from a personal stand point and i feel that i should share some of my brief experience, with future customers to help them make a more informed decision.     In my opinion, Dolphin have got to be one of the worst companies out there from a customer perspective. Given that there are now so many companies that we all have to deal with for gas, electricity, broadband, sky tv, phones etc - saying Dolphin is the worst is really quite something. This is the first bad review I have ever written but I feel that anyone considering handing over money to this company should really think twice.     Our experience of Dolphin bathrooms can be summed up as an expensive mistake. It is now 3 months since the start of our installation and the bathroom is still not complete. The first 2 weeks went well enough, however there were some (relatively minor) problems in completing the installation, caused by an error on behalf of the Dolphin surveyor. Despite the problems being minor, trying to arrange completion has been very difficult due to Dolphin's appalling customer service.     Having seen BBC Watchdog’s damning report on Dolphin Bathrooms we thought we ought to add our experience. We were really disgusted with the treatment we received from Dolphin for several reasons which I’ll try to keep as brief as possible. 1. Their ridiculous pricing system. According to them our bathroom would have cost £21,000 but because of various offers and reductions it somehow came down to £7,000. This meant we never knew the real value of any item as nothing is priced in their catalogue. As we ended up buying our own vinyl and toilet, we had no way of comparing costs. 2. Problems ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages very ,very , very poor follow up team.

    We asked for a designer to visit us and give us an idea of the price we could expect for a bathroom, the designer came was very professional and pleasant , did a good job as a salesman and persuaded us to sign up for a bathroom which costed alot more than we intended to spend. I read a few reviews and felt a bit worried about all the bad reviews, but I thought all big companies are bound to have some bad reviews and happily waited for the surveyer to call us within the next couple of days as promised.     Having decided to update my tired old bathroom in my house in London my friend suggested contacting Dolphin bathrooms who had designed their own bathroom 6 months before. I decided to get them and one other company to give me a quote. I must admit that i did look at this site and saw the reviews which mostly were not very good however i did notice that most of these were a good few years old and as my friend had nothing but good things to say about them and their bathroom looks stunning i thought i would still see them.     Installation on 2 bathrooms started 26 April 2010. The first fitters where so bad that work stopped after a week. All work done to date had to be stripped out by the next set of fitters before they could commence installing the bathrooms. For the next 12 weeks we had a stop start work schedule for the installation including working some Saturdays and Sundays. We now on to our thrid snagging list as the finish was not to customer satisfaction. Sanitary ware delivered does not match the good delivery note.
