    Advantages Advantages everything.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages nothing.

I am 14 and got perscriped Driclor by my doctor as i have suffered with hyperhydrosis for almost 3 years now and it has made me very self concious. During school, even in summer, i do not take off my blazer in fear of sweat marks which i always have. I dont wear tight fitting tops or any tops with sleeves for that matter, so therefore i cannot get sweat marks. I used to go through 4 cans of deogrant a month where i would use so much to try and stop myself getting sweat marks as it was highly embarrassing.. I didn't just get small sweat marks i got massive ones, like you would even believe. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages quick effective cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages not so kind on skin

Mine is a sad story like everyone else who suffer from excessive sweating or 'Hyperhidrosis(HH)'. I never believed there is 'light at the end of tunnel' for this plague till i got DRICLOR. I have severe head/facial sweating and also underarm, back, thighs and arms. No way i am exaggarating this drug. I felt trapped in my sweaty body all these years. It affected every part of my life, effected my studies, career, social life, sexual life, confidence, you name it; it lead to depression, severe panic attacks; it became so bad, i became scared of most of 'routine' interactions such as looking at ... more

Advantages Advantages Effective, long-lasting protection, no white marks, small amounts needed so it lasts a while

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Itching

I've reviewed a few anti-perspirants of late because my trusty Sure, which I've used for years, seemed to stop working. Unfortunately, nothing else seemed to work for me either, so I decided to bring out the big guns. Although this product had a downside or two well noted, the reviews suggested it would be powerful and effective; this has actually worked so well for me that I'm over the moon with it and would highly recommend it if other anti-perspirants are failing you. I bought mine as a 75ml roll-on, which came boxed with instructions. Inside is the bottle itself, which is very basic and ... more

    Advantages Advantages Prevents excess sweating

Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey but worth it

I bought Driclor, a treatment for excess sweating when I realised I couldn’t get through the day without feeling hot and sticky. It wasn’t a constant problem but I felt that long sleeved shirts were no longer an option in the mildest of weather. I ordered it from Amazon as it was cheaper than the retail prices on the high-street. Boots retail this product at £6.19; Amazon had it for £1 cheaper. The 75ml bottle comes in a blue and white box with minimal information on it. However, it does state that the main active ingredient is Aluminium chloride hexahydrate and that the product should not be ... more

    Advantages Advantages Completely stopped sweating

Disadvantages Disadvantages Stings like hell if you don't use correctly

Background So, after 3 years of sheer embarrassment I decided to go to the docs about my HH problem. Years of not being able to wear several T-Shirts in my collection, and many bleached pits, are now in the past. I've always been sceptical about things like this, and have tried every standard connotation of 'anti-perspirant' deodorant known to man; so I wasn't particularly hopeful about this one either. But that's where my pessimism was curbed. Presentation Driclor comes in a little bottle (can't remember the exact size of mine), and I got it from the local chemist after a recommendation of ... more

Advantages Advantages value for money, stops me sweating completely, no need for a prescription, no fuss application

Disadvantages Disadvantages it stings for the first hour or so, but please stick with it, the results are worth it!

I have a lot of problems related to my monthly periods, one of which is 'hot flushes', but a lot of the time I have these alongside very bad excessive sweating. Every pore on my body perspires, the sweat soaks through all my clothing, right into the outer layers in the case of winter dress. I found Driclor at my local pharmacy and gave it a try, not hoping for any results at all, but I was shocked. Yes, when you put it on after showering it does sting and itch, at the same time, it's a weird feeling. However if you can get past the first hour, it stops. I simply do not sweat when I use this ... more

Advantages Advantages cheap, easy to apply

Disadvantages Disadvantages wore off after a while, stings and itches

When I first came across this product, I doubted that it would work. For the past few years I've put up with embarrassing hyperhydrosis (mainly under my arms) and to date, nothing had worked effectively, so why would I think differently about this? 'What's so special about Driclor?' I thought. I decided to put in a bit of research and read a few pages of reviews on various sites, and to my surprise, a good majority of these reviews were positive; people were praising this product left, right and center. If this many people saw great results then it must work. Right? Well.. I went to my local ... more

Advantages Advantages Works instantly, No perspiration at all, Never sweat again, Saves embarassment

Disadvantages Disadvantages Mild tingling sensation, fairly costly

I have been suffering from excess sweating for a couple of years now, and now that summer's here I can no longer hide my sweat patches under my cardigans, so I decided to do something about it. I spent a long time researching various products and I noticed that 'Driclor' was very well recommended. It was fairly pricey at £6 for 20ml and I only found it in Boots stores, but boy was it worth it! I exercise a lot, as I'm part of many sports teams, and I found that even after the first day my sweat patches had been greatly reduced. By day two, there was no evidence of sweat AT ALL. EUREKA! I had ... more

    Advantages Advantages Works instantly

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can cause some people irritation

I have tried many different roll on and spray deodorants over the years i have not found one that completely works for me. Many of them make me sweat less, but i do still sweat when its really hot and it can be embarrassing and i always had to keep a cardigan on to stop people being able to see i was sweating! Whilst in boots i came across this driclor, i had no idea what it was like and had not heard of it before, but as it was expensive for a roll on deodorant at around £6 i thought it has got to be better than what i have been using so far! I originally bought this product about 2 years ago ... more
