    I have had it for 4 years now. And i think it's the best car i've ever owned! It keeps surprising me that I got this much fun for My money! Easy to drive, easy to park, less fuel than other cars I've owned. And best of all: great quality. It runs every day like a clock without any problems! I just love it! My next car Will definetly be a Ford Focus. And i Will recommend all My friend to get one too! My brother has got one, so has My father.     We have a 2005 Ghia with less than 30000 miles on the clock, maintained from new by the main dealer. Six months ago the automatic gearbox needed reprogramming at a cost of about 400.00 pounds. Now the dealer tells us we need a new gearbox at a cost of over 5000.00 pounds. For a car that cost nearly 20000 pounds with low mileage this is completely unacceptable. Ford customer service help line basically told us that as the extended guarantee had expired, they were not interested in the problem. We have averaged 100 kms per 7.5 liters of deisel, and think that the fuel consumption for a car of ... more

    I rented a car off Hertz for a driving trip through the Lake District over valentines and was furnished with a facelift shape 2009 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec in a beautiful metallic light (Vision) blue. I am a diesel man myself and was a little apprehensive on driving a petrol engine, especially on some of the roads I was ready to endure on my trip. The car I hired was a Zetec class which has air conditioning, quick clear windscreen, CD player with bluetooth phone connectivity, sporty interior, fog lights, EPS, ABS and alloy wheels.     I have been driving one of these for a year now and think thats long enough to comment on the car. Firstly, the cost of this car when i picked it up was very reasonable. £8,000 for a two year old car with 15,000 miles on the clock is pretty good if im not mistaken. My work requires me to travel some distance every week and therefore, the car gets alot of use. The handling of the car is great! corners are smooth and you hardly move in the seat.     I am now the proud owner of a ford focus 1.6 zetec and for the first time in many years I have actually found a car that pretty muc suits all my needs. I have spent many a time in cars that are too big, too small, not suitable, not comfortable etc but this is everything I could ask for. I own the three door version but the doors open widely and when the front seat is moved forward there is plenty of room to get anyone in the back, even my mother in law who is disabled.     Advantages Advantages Cheap to run and insure, cheap parts, reliable, an all round great car

    ****Specifications**** The Ford Focus 1.6i Zetec is a five door hatch back with a 1596cc fuel injected petrol engine. The engine makes 99.2 bhp and 106lbs of torque at 4,000 rpm. It is 4,152mm long, 1,998mm wide and 1,430mm high.     Disadvantages Disadvantages electrics not great, not ideal for a large (3 children) family especially with car seats

    Ford Focus 1.6 With the Zetec engine you can't go wrong. A great family car, although if you have two child seats it doesn't leave much space for a third person in the back. Excellent handling in all conditions. My one concern is the electrics which seem to sometimes have a mind of there own, the central locking somtimes kicks in and the display sometimes goes off. Although there is always some luck in the reliability of a car in my experience this is one of the most reliable cars on the market.     The Ford Focus has been one of my favorite cars to date, this is my second one. I sold my first one a while back and decided to try something else, but was extremely disappointed. The Ford Focus is one of the best handling cars I have driven and an extremely comfortable ride. I have one with air conditioning and a six CD changer. The electric heated windscreen is one of the best gadgets in the focus, it is a real relief on those frosty mornings when the windscreen is frosted over, with the touch of button the windscreen can be clear within a few minutes and saves cold hands having to scrape ... more

    This is a small car but it's a sport car.It has about 100hp and a torque of 240 - 260NM at 1750rpm. This is a good looking car .It goes to 62 MH in about 10 seconds.What can I say?The interrior looks good,the exterior looks good and handling and the report power-torque says everithing about it.

    I drive a 2002 model of this Focus. I acquired it reluctantly from a family member a couple of years ago however I am very pleased with it. It looks quite bland to many but I think it's quite understated, which I like. I have had a few "sporty" cars over recent years but the handling of the Focus is better than any of them. Staying within the speed limits, on B roads it's really enjoyable and stays nice and flat round corners.
