We are always pleased with Gardening Direct. All my plants arrived well packed and safe in their packaging. I have lost a couple of the 160 plants so far but this is due to my planting. We have recently moved house and so I have had to plant up in the house in a rather hurried way. However they are now all standing up straight now and happy in their first pots. I bought plants from Gardening direct over 8 years ago, I know it was AT LEAST that long ago as it was at an old address. I am very careful who I provide personal info to, I am also very careful to tick the "don't sell my personal info and send me junk" box. 8 years on, I am still being plauged by sales calls from companies who have bought my information from marketting companies. Bought some plants maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Plants were ok. What is not ok is that they bombard you with emails on an almost daily basis. Even though I have used the unsubscribe option many times, they ignore every request. Have tried sending an email to their customer service using the link given in their spam mail, but it comes back as address not known.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. There are reputable companies out there who don't treat people this bad. There is no way that I would ever buy from this tin pot company again. This is the second year that I have bought plants by post from Gardening Direct. Last year I was wary and only bought a few, but this year my garden is filled with their flowers. The plants arrive in Spring as little plug plants in plastic containers, and need to be transplanted into larger trays as soon as possible, and then out into the garden when it is warm enough. Everything arrived on time and in terrific condition, apart from some gazanias and a couple of fuchsias which had dried out in the post.
