    Advantages Advantages Fun lots of features colourful and lots of plant ideas

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes a while to find your way around the garden planning

    The concept of the CD is very good. I find there was lots of very good information on the CD. You can brows though many plants/shrubs (around 300 plus) that you can use in your garden. The main feature is to be able to design your own garden and try different ideas, such as fencing (plus which colour fence) paving, pounds, and where to cut out flowerbeds. Where would it be best to put your garden equipment? And lots more. You have to click on the icons to put things on your design sheet, which is a flat green grass.     Celebrity endorsement is a well established marketing tool, however there is an inherent risk that fate will deal a card from the bottom of the pack. Around the time that Geoff Hamilton 3D Garden Designer was being created, Geoff died in 1996. Undaunted, GSP software of Cambridge has continued to publish the title. The software itself, according to the 'about' panel states proudly 'Created in the Russian Federation' - but is this simply a case of employing cost effective developers in a global economy, or trying to sell a Llada in BMW livery?
