    This is a cow boy outfit, its sole purpose is to change your oil for 100 pounds, you even pay extra for fully synthetic oil. told me a needed a new rear axle when the car was 2 years old, BMW said the car was fine. Money making scam artists, Complete cow boy approach to my car, went in for a basic service 99 pounds needing quoting me over 600 for air filters, diesel filters as all these items are not included on the basic quote.     Took my car for a MOT failed on front shockers not rebounding, car was 4 years old. anyway went ahead with the work as I was in a rush, paid the £640, whilst I was waiting and drinking my free coffee the salesman was practically begging me to buy a members card. Since the repairs my car was knocking from the front I took it back they said "we have not got time today please use another garage" So I went to Portrack MOT centre and they found that the two front shockers had not been bolted to the car and I was risking my life by driving it......     Hello, went into in & out service centre STOCKTON parked my car out the back got from my car and asked the mechanic "can I have a price on a service" he said "yes no problem follow me to reception and ill pass you to someone who can help" As he walked over to reception the man behind the desk whom I think is the manager give the mechanic a telling off for speaking to a customer and walking into reception, when he had services to complete.     I went to the garage with my kids today...the MOT was completed in a very professional manner, the mechanics were very polite and kept me updated on progress. They said the MOT would take 40 minutes and it took 40 minutes. My kids got free hot chocolate and my car passed with flying colours. The MOT test for cars has been changed this year so more cars are failing but that is not the garages fault as most people are stating. I paid £14 on groupon for my MOT and I still felt like they treated me with respect and were completely honest with my car. they are not a rip off garage like other ... more

    I found out about In n Out through an offer at work. I was a bit dubious as I thought to do an MOT and service for such a good price, they would be looking to find something wrong and it woudl be expensive. However, I decided to give it a go and it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly, my car needed a part that was reasonably priced and was fitted during at the time once they ahd phoned to confirm it was ok.     Having a good knowledge of car maintenance and regularly servicing my own vehicles for the past 10 years I expected no problems with the MOT or only minor problems. But Instead what I got shocked me.... We booked our vehicle here into the last slot of the day as we needed to get the MOT done asap. Once I dropped the vehicle off I left them to get on with it only to receive a phone call 30 minutes later say "we had to abort the MOT as there is a fuel leak and that the Oil is over filled".     I was a mechanic at this garage in STOCKTON, avoid at all costs. I left after 2 months due to no lunch or tea breaks. spoken to like a 5 year old forced to carry out poor work and ripp customers off. the service consists of a oil change only, cars are treated like crap, all the manager is bothered about is ripping you off for extras. cars leaving with no oil in, brakes not bleeded, shockers not bolted onto cars, all common place and acceptable here providing they sell you a gold membership card. avoid at all costs dont be conned into the free coffee and wireless internet. parts replaced that ... more

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I visited them today, and to my dismay they damaged my car very badly and then denied all knowledge. When challenged I got sworn at and told to leave!!! A mickey mouse operation, please read on... I am very particular about my cars, and spend a lot of money ensuring that they work well and are maintained properly. I run 2 cars at all times - one of which is a daily runner and one of which is a weekend car that has very little use other than to be wheeled out of the garage and polished.     I recently purchased a groupon voucher for twenty pounds this was for a MOT and a small valet. Seemed a reasonable deal so I was quick to sign up. I had my car checked over prior to the MOT by a friend who is a mechanic and used to test cars so that I wouldnt have to go back for a retest. I dropped the car off and came back to find it had failed... Reasons wiper blade not clearing windscreen and beam of headlight off on nearside.     I have been to in and out for my car MOT for the last 4 years. The first year was excellent but since then standards have defiantly dropped! Last year i was kept waiting 2 hours for my MOT and then had to ask someone where my car was! They had completely forgotten to tell me my car was ready and not only that it had failed! I decided to go back this year purely for the fact that its cheap and close to my house.
