    Advantages Advantages No messy oven to clean.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

    I'm really glad I purchased this oven cooks chicken perfectly taste delicious as well as any other kind of meat. Bakes too really worth the money i paid for it. Very easy to clean no hassel looks good no greasy smell in my kitchen does not take up much room on my unit you can see how your cooking is doing without having to look in a hot oven food easy to remove when cooked or baked. Good for big or small family I think when you get used to using this great oven you would never use any other oven. Would be nice gift for someone special or anyone really.     Advantages Advantages When new works well and easily

    Disadvantages Disadvantages With time becomes dreadfully, screechingly noisy and ultimately the heater ceases to work properly.

    At first I was pleased with this as it meant I did not have to use the large oven for small amounts of food and it cooked quickly. , However, just after it had passed its one year guarantee the fan started to get noisy, would settle down for a while, but then become noisy again. JML were just not interested when I spoke to them, saying that the year was up. I have continued to use it as it got noisier and noisier, I could not find anyone who was able or willing to try fixing it. I have now stopped using it as the halogen lamp would not come on long enough to cook anything, and the screeching ... more

    Advantages Advantages Short cooking times, small electricity use.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Flimsy, unsafe, small capacity, 2 levels unusable, heavy, takes up a lot of room, self clean usele

    When I moved into my house around 8 months ago, one of the things I received as a gift from a family member was a halogen oven so as to save some money as there is only myself and my son when using the oven it can sometimes be a waste for the amount I'm cooking. *~* Price And Availability *~* I have seen these in Instore or Poundstretcher (it seems to be forever switching between the 2) for £30 for a smaller size and up to £70 for a larger size.     Advantages Advantages Cooks really well cheaper to run, easy to clean

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Breaks quickly light cant be changed

    First off i got this only 2 weeks or so back and been using it every day so happy with it did my dinner tonight and it was hmm something not quite right took way longer but it was ok went back to do a saussage roll put it in and turned it on and nothing from the light. Rang JML whos order dept is open and very willing to help but only there customer services can help on this and yes ill have to send it back to them and they refund my money, worst is so close to xmas im sure i wont see a replacement now till the new year and with no oven Thanks JML for ruining my xmas and all my meals back to ... more

    Advantages Advantages fast, clean and easy to use and cheap to run.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages break down to easily and bulb needs to be replaced by a professional electrian if he can.

    Never again will i get one of these. There life span is to short, ive had 3 and each one has broken down within 10 months which JML did replace, but i had to fight to get this as your warrenty only lasts a year and you dont get a new one for each new cooker. Customer services are not very helpful,and at times can be quite rude, as they seem to think that its the customers fault that it has broken down. When the bulb goes it is very hard to replace, i got an electrian to try and he couldnt even do it and he was at it for 3 hours as the nuts and bolts weld together and wont come off due to the ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages It gets very hot and its hard to find a safe place to put the lid when removing food.

    I was very pleased with my JML halogen oven that i received for Christmas 2009. It worked perfectly for the first 9 months, with good cooking results almost every time. So, in September 2010, imagine my horror when i heard a loud explosion of glass shattering just minutes after turning it on and setting it to cook. The bulb had completely shattered leaving my uncooked dinner coated in shards of burnt black glass! Needless 2 say, the meal went uneaten...     Disadvantages Disadvantages bowl is a bit heavy

    would recommend i have 2 of them as my daughter is a vegan so use both. so i dont have any meat near her food very quick and easy to use. and has a self clean which helps alot can cook anything in them pizzas come out lovely. i have cooked a roast in 1 which came out lovely. you can buy an extension ring which makes the bowl bigger so can put more things in cakes come out nice and it has two wire trays one which has tall legs so you can cook your meat and roast potatoes at the same time. its not too big so will fit in a cuboard or you can leave it on your work suface . it has easy to use ... more

    I have bought quite a few products from JML and after my oven broke I decided to try the halogen oven that I had seen while looking at the shopping channels on TV. I had seen it quite a few times and really fancied trying it but I did not want to pay out the £60 but then my oven went to the scrap pile in the sky and I ordered the Halogen oven. =What Is It= The halogen oven is round in shape with a glass bowl which stands on a white stand and the lid lifts off completely.     Advantages Advantages Meat stays moist. Cooks well.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't get spares when it goes wrong. Have to send the whole thing back.

    I bought this oven in August 2008. I also paid for two years insurance. Yesterday the halogen heat and light unit gave up. That oven is my only cooker since my built in oven gave up years ago. I use the halogen one in place of that and in place of a toaster etc. I contacted JML to ask if they could send a replacement lid or bulb and was told that they can't do that. You have to send the whole cooker back to them. I explained that I am disabled and a pensioner and have no transport so there is no way I can get it to a post office.
