    Advantages Advantages Durable , Plenty of games to additioanlly buy, Educational , fun on the go

    Disadvantages Disadvantages You have to purchase recharger seperate , otherwise the batteries run out quickly

    I purchased my 4 yr old daughter the Pink model of the Handheld Leapster 2 about a month ago as she already had the leapster one which a friend had given her a long time ago and it had gone walkies. So when there was a special offer on at Marks and Spencers online of 50 % off leapfrog toys, I jumped at the chance as they normally retail at anything from £30 upwards. ---Why I like it -------------- To start off with it is a smaller sized model than the first one , which makes this alot lighter and easy to carry for small hands like my daughters .     Disadvantages Disadvantages battery life if in constant use

    The Leapfrog Leapster learning Game system is a handheld educational game console. The main goal is to stimulate learning behavior through engaging interactivity. My son is 3 years old and the main reason why I bought this leapfrog 2 console was we went on a very long haul flight and I wasnt so sure how I would be able to entertain him! I bought him the cars, diego game... and I was teaching him... He loved it from when the games console touched his hands! This is a great learning tool for pre-schoolers and older.     Advantages Advantages Learning made fun

    Disadvantages Disadvantages games cardridges can be expensive

    I bought this for Christmas for my 3 year old last year. I debated buying the Leapster 2 or the Leapster Explorer. The retail price of Leapster 2 is around £30 to £35 pounds, obviously cheaper than the Explorer. However, I was apprehensive about buying this brand new as each game cartridge costs about £20. Also, I did not know if my son would play on it or not. So, I scouted around E-bay and finally managed to purchase a second hand one, for around £30, including a few games too. Looking on e-bay, I found that quite a few of these were on sale, but also that they were being snapped up quickly ... more
