    User doesn't recommend the product

    Advantages Advantages Lightweight, matte finish

Disadvantages Disadvantages Patchy, bad smelling, unnatural colours, watery, difficult application

Another silly, gimmicky product that I just couldn't help but purchase. What a waste of time and £8.99! I used this foundation all of one time and can already tell you how much I hate it! PACKAGING The foundation comes in a sort of metal can like an aerosol would with a rattling ball inside which you can shake to mix up the foam (kind of like a mini can of spray paint). It is just a little larger I would say than a normal tube of foundation but aside from that the packaging is pretty average and goes hand in hand with other Maybelline "dream" products. It includes a clear plastic lid (which I ... more

4 Stars Air foam foundation! Review with images 11/08/2012
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, easy to rub in, nice looking product, lasts well, good coverage.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Might not be as good without powder over the top.

Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam is a foundation selling on the market. You buy a 50ml little tin like a miniature hair spray. The product packaging is a beige colour all the way round, which does mean you can't see inside to see how much you have left. The front of the packaging says the usual NEW Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam with spiral white colours round the wording, I think the packaging looks nice and sleek, easy to spot in a shop and very natural looking. You can get 8 different shades of foundation so on the front it also tells you which shade it is, and at the bottom says Air-Infused ... more

    Advantages Advantages good coverage

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesnt feel light on skin, sticky and shiny

I really like Maybelline make up and my favourite foundation of theirs has been the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, when I heard about the Maybelline Airfoam Foundation I was really excited to try it, because it seemed to be more of a liquid foundation than a mousse, so I was hoping it would be just as good as the mousse, but not dry my face up as much as the mousse sometimes does. This foundation comes is a very large variety of colours, some including: Caramel Cameo Fawn Ivory Beige Lig ht Beige Sun Beige Sand Application This foundation is really easy to apply, you simply take the bottle and ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Light, easy to apply.

Disadvantages Disadvantages May not be suitable for people with bad skin- it's quite a thin coverage

Before I tried this new air foam make-up, I was using the original type of this make-up for about two years, so my review will be based mainly on the comparisons of the two. ----Price---- This can be bought from boots for £8.99, although I'm pretty sure it did not cost this much when I bought it! It can also be bought from Tesco, Superdrug and other common stores. The pricing can be argued against, as some people may think £8.99 is quite high, but to be fair in comparison to many other foundations in stores, it's not too bad, and there are many which cost a lot more! I would, and will, be ... more

    1 Star Useless mousse 08/05/2012
    User doesn't recommend the product

    Advantages Advantages Err.... it's different?!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Really tricky to use, can't control amount dispensed, doesn't look light or natural on skin

Ad powerThis is one of those products which I have to admit was sold to me by the advertising. I like to think I’m immune to these things, but obviously not! And I like to think I have learnt my lesson (until the next time of course....) Light and airy?It is only recently that I’ve started to use foundation and I like to have very light coverage. I never use powder formulas as they just don’t work for me – instead I really like light liquid formulas, or even a mousse formula which I have recently found works best for me. However in the past the mousse formula foundations I have used have been ... more

    Advantages Advantages None!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Almost all, please save your money!

I'm not usually a fan of television advertised foundations but after seeing adverts on maybellines dream airfoam foundation, I really wanted to give it a little try to see if it was any good. The airfoam foundation claims to be lightweight with a flawless finish, says it does not clog up pores and is ideal for all types of skin. From using this product, I can tell you that it does nothing that it says it does. The foundation comes out in a foam blob and looks, smells and feels like a mouse. When you apply it to your skin, it looks cakey instantly and dries very fast so pulls on the skin. It ... more
