    Advantages: a well selected collection of poetic verse Disadvantages: difficult to engage with on first read. As a listed A level curriculem author , this particular collection is extremely useful for study. It contains an excellent selecton of his works, that span the changes in his writing style. Including his famous poem 'death of a naturalist' the reader is introduced to one of Irelands greatest poets with one of my favourite poems of all time.     Advantages Advantages a well selected collection of poetic verse

    As a listed A level curriculem author , this particular collection is extremely useful for study. It contains an excellent selecton of his works, that span the changes in his writing style. Including his famous poem 'death of a naturalist' the reader is introduced to one of Irelands greatest poets with one of my favourite poems of all time. For love of nature and its rythms, it's cruelties and victories the themes of our human questions about life, love and growth are explored.     Sorry I didn't like this one either! it was boring as far as I was concerned - and likeon eof the other reviewers - I couldn't really see the point in any of the poems! Sorry xx

    I hated this book! I could not see what all the fuss was about - I couldn't understand what half of the poems were about and so I am sorry to say that this is the reason why I have rated this very low!

    one of the best books by probably one of the most influenal irish poets of the time ever poem has its own kick to it im refreshed just by reading the next poem in this amazing book
