Advantages Advantages A doddle to get the hang of, customisable, excellent battery life...

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only the one screensaver, naff ring tones, those flippin awful orange side panels...

My old phone was on its last legs. Certain people were apparently getting a tad fed up with the fact I could rarely hold a 30-second phone call without it dying. I loved my old phone; it had been trustworthy to the end, well almost! I had to take the hint eventually and go and buy a new one; some were starting to think I just didn't want to talk to them… ~BASICS~ Size - 118 x 49.6 x 17.1 mm Weight – 106g (Including battery) Talk time – 2 hours 30 – 4 hours 30 Standby time – up to 13 days (312 hours) Charging time – 4 hours approx Blue front and back covers as standard. Advantages Advantages STORES up to 500 directory entries; multiple numbers, e-mail addresses and notes per entry

Disadvantages Disadvantages Couldn't answer phone before I lost the call. It took too long to charge phone.

This was the first cell phone I ever owned with a colour screen. It was also my first (and LAST) cell phone made by Nokia. I Was Impressed With Its Features I was looking for a cell phone initially on behalf of a friend with cerebral palsy who wanted a phone easy to read, hold and use. At 105gm, and about the size of a candy bar, it was very comfortable to hold, and the keys had sufficient separation to look like they would be easy to press individually. The 1½" x 1" (or 1¾" diagonal) screen was clear, with signal strength clearly shown up one side and battery strength the other. * The choice ... more

Advantages Advantages Good value, robust, simple to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages May not have enough 'advanced features' for some.

Nokia 3510i Overview The Nokia 3510i is Nokia’s replacement to the Popular 3310\3330 range and was released at a similar time to the 3410. The 3510 was originally released with a monochrome screen but the current 3510i has a colour screen. This phone then is just a basic entry-level phone for people that just want something cheap, easy to use and reliable. It has all the key features you would expect from a modern phone like Wap, GPRS, MMS Picture messaging, SMS etc but does not have the features you would find on higher end phones such as Photo Messaging (Camera), Bluetooth, Infrared etc ... more

Advantages Advantages Wide range of features and easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Maybe a bit too bulky

The Nokia 3510i is a phone that I bought because it was one of the cheapest phones available and had such a wide range of features and plus points. The phone may not be the smallest in the world but it's extremely good for the price you pay for it and the screen is in colour! For so long I have tried to avoid the trend that everyone has a Nokia phone but in the end I just couldn't resist! It just had so many advantages that I couldn't refuse and the Nokia phone is one of the easiest to use phones I have ever come across. When I bought the phone from "The Link" it was priced at £99.99 (Pay as ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, Changeable covers, Colour Screen, Battery charges

Disadvantages Disadvantages Heavy, No Camera, Reception can be quite weak sometimes.

I inherited this phone from my mum in March this year, after her contract upgraded her to a Motorola V525 flip phone with camera. No, i don't tell everyone that my mum is more technologically advanced than me when it comes to phones, but then i remind myself that at least i know how to use her phone!!!! :-() The 3510 replaced my old 3310, also inherited from my mum. I must say that it is a huge improvement, noticably with a colour screen. It doesn't have a camera, as I originally wanted, but then i realised that i don't need one. I know, I know - I'm the ONLY teenager who doesn't want a camera ... more

    Advantages Advantages Robust, Organiser

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cannot unlock, bad games

My good old trusted 3310 was killed off by my girlfriend messing about with it, after my hour or so of grieving i thought i need a new phone. The new mobile i got was the nokia 3510i due to its similarity with the 3310. If you need a simple phone with a large array of features which is reliable for a half decent price, please read on. Looks........... This nokia 3510i is basically a slightly redesigned 3310, while bigger and heavier than most phones i don't believe it is very noticeable. The colour design is a dark blue facia with orange running down the side which lights up due to a incoming ... more

Advantages Advantages Colour screen, java games, polyphonic tones, wallpapers - basically everything

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bigger than Nokia 3310, no camera, can't assign downloaded tones to people

I got this phone recently on my Birthday, I was excited to get it. I have been trying it out with a friend's phone which was excatly the same make and I was impressed with his phone. The phone is bigger compared to the Nokia 3310 / 3330 but that is no problem because it was only slightly bigger. This phone has got to be one of the most simple to have been produced by Nokia with an easy menu interface which is similar to the Nokia 3310 or 3330. On the menu, you see features such as Phonebook, Messages, Call Register, Tones, Profiles, Settings, Gallery, Games, Organiser, Applications, Extras ... more

Advantages Advantages It’s a Nokia, easy to use, sounds great, colour screen, good battery life.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Styling of the phone itself may not be to everyone’s tastes.

Introduction Between Christmas and New Year, I treated myself to a new phone. Now before I start I am a bit of a one for gadgets and I had intended to try one of those Sharp GX-10 phones that Vodafone are currently pushing on TV. That went straight out of the window when the salesmen told me that to upgrade from my current Nokia 3330 to the Sharp would cost in the region of £200. After looking through various other phones and saying ‘how much’ repeatedly to the salesman, I settled on a brand new Nokia 3510i for the princely upgrade fee of £20. I should clear this up now, the £20 is ... more

Advantages Advantages Value for money, colour screen, good battery life

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly larger than many new phones

This was my third attempt at buying a satisfactory phone (the previous two having been on Virgin Mobile, whose network proved highly unsatisfactory using two of this handset's rivals, the Panasonic GD67 and Motorola C350). I have overall been very pleased with my final purchase on Orange. The phone is fairly light weight (around 100g), has a very clear 4096 colour screen with intuitively usable menus, and well spaced large buttons which make for quick texting and menu navigation without key-strike errors. It is a little larger and heavier than many similarly specified handsets but not ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent Features, Long Battery Life

Disadvantages Disadvantages Buttons can sometimes be difficult to press

I have recently purchased a Nokia 3510i. I feel this has been a very good investment as this phone has loads of functions and features, which are all very useful. I think this phone is quite attractive and interesting. There are orange strips down both sides which light when the phone rings and it has a rather large orange button on the top with which you turn the phone on and off. This phone has a colour screen, which is really funky and cool and also has Polyphonic Ringtones. The phone is not too big and not two small. It is really annoying when the buttons are too small as you cannot press ... more
