Advantages Advantages LOADS of features and options for customization

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor build, no 'process line'

I have had a significant amount of different cell phones through the times. At some point recently I thought: "Hey! Maybe that slide design is actually quite clever?" The obvious pros of the slide design is the possibility for a larger screen without a too bulky design. The Nokia 6210 Navigator is my second slide phone. The reasons why I chose that exact model was: * The slide design. * The possibility of 3.6 MBit/s data transfer * It being a Nokia phone * Other connectivity (primarily Bluetooth, but I was also curious about the sat-nav feature). How good is the phone, then? Quite... The very ... more

    Advantages Advantages GPS, Accelerometer, Camera

Disadvantages Disadvantages Short battery life, No Wi-Fi

I have had this phone for nearly a year now, and it seems OK so far. The GPS seems very quick to pick up a signal, and is quite accurate. The camera takes good quality pictures at 3.2MP, and good quality videos at 640 by 480.However, the battery life is very short, and i seem to have to charge it every other night, even if I haven't used it. Also, the phone doesn't have Wi-Fi, so if I am downloading at home, it uses some of my inclusive data. The headset it comes with is a bit cheap and mine broke within a few months, but because it has a 2.5mm jack plug on it, you can get an adaptor on the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Sat Nav

Disadvantages Disadvantages battery life is very short

I have been using this phone for about 4 weeks and absolutely love it! I am an experienced Nokia user and found getting used to this phone very easy and quick (my last phone was a N73). This phone has all the features that I need, ie phone, text, Internet (limited), basic sat nav, camera, video, radio, Mp3 Getting Started: Let's start with saving contacts and personalising the phone. I use the PC back up system Nokia PC Suite and transferred all my data (contacts, messages, photos, videos, mp3 files, calendar entries) extremely quick and easy. Within 5 minutes I had everything set up. General ... more

    Advantages Advantages long battery

    Disadvantages Disadvantages looks old

Used this Nokia 6210 handset for its third year now, and tried and tested a few more mobile phones since then, but have always reverted back to this faithful old friend. Useful for my laptop modem connection. For a business person, it's perfect, easy and quick to use - no fiddly menus to scroll through, or hidden buttons to accidentally press. Bought one new battery this year (slim) and it's like brand new again. Very professional phone - can't find another to beat it...yet. I think if nokia did a newer version of this then it would go down very well, perhas with a color sceen. I found out the ... more

    Advantages Advantages Features, price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages RELIABILITY

I upgraded my old 7210 to this exchanging an allegedly unreliable phone for a "reliable" one my only comment HUGE mistake. Until I purchased this phone I was a fan of all things Nokia (I purchased the original Nokia Orange). Not any more after thirteen handsets in eleven months I can offer only one piece of advice don't touch! I've converted to Sony Ericsson and have not been disappointed. Although I did give a 3210 to my mother as it's the easiest phone on the market for an oap to understand. If you get a good one the phone offers a lot of kit for the cash and is easy to understand. The big ... more

Advantages Advantages Robust, reliable quality mobile

Disadvantages Disadvantages No up to date features such as colour screen, camera etc

Excellent reliable handset, the type that has given Nokia a good name. I have just upgraded to a Nokia 3120 but prefer the 6210e as I get better signal strenghth, sound quality and ease of use. Although the 3120 is a good phone it just cannot compete with the 6210e in terms of reliability for everyday use. I have dropped my 6210e many times and it keeps on going on. I personally do not need features such as camera, colour screen, poly ring tones etc so this really is the best phone I have ever owned. Incidentally my sister bought my handset second hand, used it for a year or two, then gave it ... more

Advantages Advantages Robust and simple to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages Typical faults with time (keypad & power keys). Old features by current standards.

Reliable phone designed for business use. Very easy to use. Has very few 'modern' features, but does have WAP, and provides it at a reasonable connection speed. Also has infra-red connection, so can be used for internet connection protocol with laptops. Build quality is also very good (I've dropped mine many times!). Its only real faults are the common problems of the power key and some of the keypad buttons. These go through phases of not working properly (in particular the # button fails a lot). On the downside, it lacks many modern features such as bluetooth, colour screen, MMS and camera ... more

    Advantages Advantages Menu, screen, speaker

Disadvantages Disadvantages Just about everything else

I have been subjected to owning a Nokia 6210 mobile phone for 10 months now. Apart from the first handset, which worked well and didn't show any faults in 4 months (before I broke the screen), I have had nothing but problems. I am on my 8th Nokia 6210 replacement. The buggy software, dodgy buttons, ill-fitting battery and something to do with the internal 'shield' have all contributed to my one-per-month replacement average. I have suffered anger and abuse from my work colleagues and clients alike, for the amount of time I am not contactable - waiting for the repalcement to arrive - and had to ... more

    Advantages Advantages large memory

    Disadvantages Disadvantages everything else

Within the first few months of owning the Nokia 6210e mobile phone it started having problems. yeah, the large memory is great but this does not compensate for a shoddy phone in all other respects. Problems i've had- battery disconnects from phone on a daily basis, phone turns itself off all the time, buttons seem to redirect- e.g. pressing "call answer" on an incoming call often turns the phone off- very helpful if you're waiting for an important call, some buttons and functions simply don't work, the phone often freezes to the extent that nothing on the phone works, including the off button ... more
