Advantages Advantages PAYG Text Packs - Free 02 to 02...

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not 3g, 'Bleep bleep bleep' on fridays!!

Biggest Network In the UK. 02 has been around for years, started off as BT Cellnet....then it took off from there... I remember the 1p text's..yes Im old!!!! I like 02, I used them when I was PAYG, I was on a great PAYG Tariff which let me call my friends on 02 for free. Great thing about 02 is the benefit of a variety of the Tariffs. My daughter uses 02 and all her friends do aswell so they can talk to each other for littel money. Text Packs are good if you top up by £10 - you get 300txts to use on the following mth. £30 Top up gets you unlimited texts aswell - but I think that is a bit ... more

Advantages Advantages Free calls & texts to 02, free sim card.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Top up EVERY month, customer services.

O2 Unlimited Unlimited calls and texts to anyone on O2, simply connect or switch tariff to O2 Unlimited now. Top up £10 and you can get unlimited free Texts to all other O2 customers. Top up £15 and you can get unlimited Calls AND Texts to all other O2 customers I have been on contract with another provider for quite sometime and have slowly found my bills creeping up. My other half has a 02 pay as you go sim card and was always going on about his free texts or what not. Then one day he got all excited and told me about 02 unlimited. It's basically what I have written above. Top up £15 a month ... more

Advantages Advantages Best pay as you go text messaging offer around

Disadvantages Disadvantages you have to keep track of how many messages you send

I have been a customer of O2 now for about two years, and find their pay as you go contracts very reasonable. I myself have one of the genie sim cards, where you get a choice offree text messages or free any network, any time minutes. Since i have had the sim card i have taken advantage of the free text messages. where for ten pounds O2 give you 300 free messages, the amazing thing with this is that you still keep your ten pounds of credit to use on further messages or calls. O2 have recently introduced 500 free messages for 15 pounds, and 1000 messages for £20 (either that or i have only just ... more

Advantages Advantages Good Customer Service, Rewards

Disadvantages Disadvantages Charged for using voicemail

I've happily been with O2 as a Pay as you Go Customer for just over 2 years now, The service they provided me with was excellent as they had plenty of bolt on's to choose from depending on what you mainly use your phone for. ** What are Bolt Ons?** Mainly they are there so you can get the most out of using your Mobile Phone i.e whether you're a Textaholic, Talker etc. Basically you pay a set fee which is taken from your credit on your phone and you can get a set ammount of free minutes and texts etc. The money is taken at a set time every month and you will receive a text message 24 hours ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to top up

Disadvantages Disadvantages Cost ALOT for everything

O2 havent excelled themselfs with the original, every thing costs alot, to call anouther mobile its 30- 50p a minute for the first 3 minutes you talk everyday, then the price drops. Its okay for texting, costs 10p per text. Voice mail is the same costs 30-50p per minute the service is okay and relitivly easy to navigate through menus. Cusomer service is not good, you are often on hold for 10-15 minutes then talk to someone then get redirected and wait anouther 10-15 minutes. The technical service is the same, also when i had my nokia i had internet, then i swiched phones and no internet, i ... more

    Advantages Advantages Dont see any,

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor phone lines, hidden rip offs.

Hello everyone, This being my first review I thought let me write about something which has irritated me the most up to now. Let's start with the lucrative figure and facts by which 02 rips people like me and you off. O2 has so called three offers in pay as you go. 1) Pay & go 2) Pay and go Talkalot 3) Pay and go Talkalotmore 1) Pay & go AND Pay & go Talkalot This both offers are same and offer everything same. Standard O2 numbers Calls: 25p for the first 3 minutes/day than 5p/min for the rest of the day. Evening (Mon-Fri): 25p for the first 3 minutes/day than 5p/min for the rest of the day ... more

Advantages Advantages Simple Tariff, Sometimes You Can Get Free Internet.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Customer Care Charge You for Calling.

02 have been around for many years now, i got my first phone in March 2003 and it was on 02 Pay as you go original. I will be explaining this tariff and a bit about 02 as well in this review. ~02 Pay As You Go~ Pay As You Go means you are free of a contract and you pay for the phone all at once for example if you buy a £139 phone. You pay the full £139 up-front. For Credit on your phone you pay £10 for a top-up card. You can do this whenever you want and how often you want. ~Price Plans~ For the first 30 days you can access 02 Active (GPRS) for free and get a game / ringtone worth £2.50 free ... more

Advantages Advantages cheap evening and weekend calls

    Disadvantages Disadvantages paying for voicemail

I have been an O2 pay as you go customer for nearly four years now during which i have been able to keep the same phone number, even tho i have changed my handset numerous times. With O2 at night time and at the weekends on this particular priceplan calls to landlines and other O2 mobile phones are only charged at 2p a minute. I have also found that while using O2 i can get a great signal anywhere so far. One disadvantage is tho you need to pay 25p to retreive any voicemail. O2 have lots of great offers for their customers too, every year you get 10% of whatever you top up from the beginning ... more
