Advantages Advantages good quality in smaller sizes, good customer service

Disadvantages Disadvantages pricey, can leak in larger sizes, small sizing

Now I read somewhere once that on average a Mum or Dad can change upto 6,000 nappies a year in their babies first year and I think it was about 4,000 nappies for the following year, so if I quickly work that out I have probably changed around 50,000 nappies and that is without the following months, years that get them to potty trained and without the numerous nappies I have changed whilst babysitting ( yes crazy woman does still babysit even though my house is like the waltons already!). With that information out I think I can safely say that I know what I am doing with a nappy!! I have always ... more

Well here I go again, I'm writing this review today as I went to see my son today and even got to change him for the first time (not looking for sympathy my son was born 3 months premature he is not 6 weeks old) and it brought back memories of me always always using pampers with my daughter now 3 years of age and my mothers always swear by Pampers so they were always used on, so when I was carrying my Daughter and Son when I knew I was out of danger zone, every time I would do my food shopping I would buy Pampers to get stocked up (like others baby products) With my daughter I always found ... more

Advantages Advantages Great. Baby stops dry and no more sore bums. Wide range.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I have been using Pampers now for over 3 years now. When I was pregnant with my son everyone told me that Pampers where the best and that there was no other nappy that comes close to Pampers. Ok I thought. Every baby magazine I picked up or brought had either Pampers or Huggies in. So I opted for Pampers. I have only used Huggies once as there was no Pampers in the shop that was the size we wanted. Though I carried on using the pack up as the days went on my son started to develop a sore bum. Which he never had before when using the Pampers. So we decided to bin the Huggies and move back on to ... more

Advantages Advantages great fit, stretchy waistband and very absorbent

Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive compared to other brands

When I found out I was pregnant I was advised by everyone to stock up on essentials such as nappies, wipes, baby lotion etc. Being a first time mum I wasn't au fait with the best brands so I went for the ones I'd seen advertised the most - Pampers. I bought loads of the things and boy was I glad when little Adam came along in June. It saved a lot of time shopping when I was getting used to coping with a newborn, and saved the pennies too when I was on maternity pay. I found that the Pampers didn't fit very well for my newborn as he was premature and quite tiny. I bought another brand once I ... more

Advantages Advantages Just pull them up and off they toddle, easy to remove, less fighting to get on then normal nappies

    Disadvantages Disadvantages NONE

When you have a baby it can be really hard to know what day of the week is, let alone what nappies to use. Super absorbent, reliable, cheap, easy to put onto a wiggling, walking toddler? Well Pampers have just added to the choice of nappies which are now available, especially for toddlers. Pampers have been one of the leading nappy sellers since disposable nappies came on the market have just solved the most annoying problem since nappy rash. Yes, its a pull up nappy for toddlers. To the new parent its hard to think that small babe who is so dependent can suddenly change into a squirming ... more

Advantages Advantages Superior materials, will stick time after time, attractive cartoon waistband!

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little pricey, depending on your budget, can leak but usually only if not properly fitted.

Nothing is too much for our children, is it? They can have the best of everything, as long as we can take another loan out at the bank to help pay for it. Before the birth of our daughter 20 months ago, we said there was no way we could ever afford to buy Pampers nappies but of course as soon as she arrived she was suddenly catapulted (although not quite literally; actually I dont know about that, the birth WAS quite traumatic!) to the top of the list of most precious things in the world today. And still is, although treading a very fine line!! So that was it, throw away the bags of shops own ... more

Thought it was about time I stopped bein lazy and wrote a product review! This week I will be mostly writin about Pampers Active Fit nappies. The Spiel *********** Pampers Active Fit claims to provide a perfect fit nappy for your baby. This is due to the stretchiest sides (is that a word) you can buy and super grip tapes. Practical information *********************** The nappies are available in four sizes midi, maxi, maxi plus and junior AKA 3, 4, 4+ and 5. The size of nappy required is decided as usual by the weight of your child. The range covers form 9 to 55lb in old money. However, I will ... more

Advantages Advantages they dont leak and they absorb runny poo

Disadvantages Disadvantages they still have to be changed!!!

They say on the advert for these new baby nappies that poo happens, and as a new mother to a delightful but very pooey baby boy, I can heartily agree!!! Being the organized type of person that I am, since being twenty weeks pregnant, every time I went to Tesco's I bought something for “bump”, either nappies or wipes or shampoo – you know the kind of thing. I also did the same if I popped into Boots or Superdrug, so once young James was born I didn’t have to go out and buy any of the baby essentials. It also meant that I had tons of nappies from almost all makes ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Pampers, where do i begin? i have been using pampers nappies and other pampers products for many years, my eldest child is 10 and my youngest is 3. What a difference the 7 year age gap has made, when i started out using them for my son 10 years ago it was boys (blue) or girls (pink) nappies, these days the nappies are unisex. PACKAGING The packet is a vivid green colour, the size of the bag depends a lot on the weight of the child and the size and quantity of the nappies you buy. On the front bottom left hand side of the bag is the size of nappy, the weight in kilograms and pounds and the ... more

A new baby in the house; a whole bunch of new products I can write about on Ciao and astound you with (or should that be ‘bore…’) Promise I won’t go over the top with these product opinions... As most of you know, baby Jack was born on 8.5.03 and what do babies use most? Nappies of course. With our first child we were pretty much skint and had to use the cheapest nappies we could find. I won’t go into detail but these were pretty bad and having to change a wringing and minging nappy that has ‘leaked’ pooh and pee in the middle of the night is not that appealing. It also means having to give ... more
