They do not work! Of course they do not work, what the hell are you talking about! Magnofuel are just another fuel saving scam, and another magno scam. Look at it this way, if they worked they would be on every vehicle on the road, governments would make them compulsory, haulage firms would fit them.... it is such an obvious scam, smake oil, a con...

I am still very confused why people don't CONVERT TO LPG!? Have a look at the GENUINE benefits of an LPG conversion at CompareLPG.com - the UK's ONLY truly impartial advisory and bookings service who work closely with the UKLPG governing body. 50% cheaper fuel, 20% less Co2 emissions, 1 in 5 garages has it and a conversion will only cost about £1600... which for most drivers will pay for itself in less than a year, assuming fuel does not increase in price that is. Have a read on the CompareLPG.com website and give them a call - it's free!

I own a little 1.2 punto. Because I use it for business I have to keep a record of mileage etc. Over the first 10 months I had the car my average mpg was 45.6mpg. I've had the Magno-fuel on for nearly 4 months now and my average mpg is exactly 50mpg. Ok that's not a huge jump but. But it's a 10 gallon tank so that's an extra 40 to 50 miles per tank for town driving. So it does save me about £5 every time I fill the tank. On steady motorway journeys to Cornwall my mpg used to ... more

Advantages Advantages MPG improves by 15%. Significant CO2 reductions. One time cost

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes about 1000 miles to show improvements

Product: Magnofuel Based on sound, Nobel prize winning physics principles Do they work? Yes, they improved my fuel consumption from 8.2 miles per litre (36.9 mpg) to 9.4 miles per litre (42.3 mpg) on a diesel Renault Espace. These figures are averaged over time and different types of driving. How Do They Work? Trying to keep this simple! The work of Felix Bloch (Stanford University) and Edward Purcell (Harvard University) led to the Nobel Prize for physics (1952). Their work pioneered the early day Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging systems used in medicine. Applying these principles to ... more

Advantages Advantages Three fold benefits for fuel consumption, smoother running and lower emissions

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slight noise increase may not suit your car.

Having recently written at some length (wot, not you, SURELY Chris?) on the subject of general motoring and fuel economy, I guess I kind of whetted my own appetite for further researching into fuel saving gadgets, and undertook to report on any that I bought (this IS that report!) Of course, my main point was that the ultimate fuel saving gadget was your own grey matter and its control over your right foot, but this doesn’t alter the fact that technology can also be brought to the rescue of our hard-pressed wallets by raising engine efficiency when we do use the car. A good example of raised ... more
